  Although I have tried many, many times, I have not been able to make the CV Tools Instrument preset work. However, the CV Instrument with no presets works just fine with this setup. Does anyone else have this problem? Also, is there a reason why the gate and pitch were switched around in this demo?

  I have the same unit as this. in Ableton when i use my mouse & keyboard, my playback can be heard but when i use the keys on the unit, i can barely hear anything. Is there a velocity setting that i need to bring the level up?

  I’m not sure about the MPK but in Midi effects in ableton Live you have one called velocity. You can essentially amplify the incoming velocity of the keyboard

  Did you ever get to the bottom of the thing with the pad vertical position holding at the value when you let go of the pad? Super annoying when playing with a filter!

  This approach will only work with Ableton Standard or Suite as Lite doesn't have Loopers and Intro is limited to just 2 send and return tracks rather than the 3 suggested here. But with Intro I can have a looper on each of 3 audio tracks which I can trigger with an inexpensive (approx AUD$30) usb 3 pedal footswitch. A bit like the 3 track Boss RC-300 but with just the one footswitch per track working like the single footswitch Boss units. Perfect for playing around with looping at home on a budget.

  Good question! You won’t have buy the whole ableton live licence again you just pay an upgrade fee and you’ll get Live Suite for less than the paying full for standard 12

  I'm new to this. First time I purchased Abelton live, it gave me Push. That was in January 2024. I deleted everything over this past weekend and started over with live lite 30 day trial. I was able to open it but I can still see I also have the Push installed also. I don't have a Push machine. I'm using Arturia Minilab MK2 25 key.

  2:53 There actually is an option in Live's preferences: "Record, Warp & Launch >>> Launch >>> Select on Launch" turn this of and when you launch a clip it will not select the track of said clip.

  ​@@ProfessorSaibertin There are a few ways to deal with this. For any tracks with a lot of processing (instruments, audio, and MIDI effects), right-click on the track and select "Freeze." This will temporarily render the track as audio and free up its processing power. You can always unfreeze it later if you need to make changes.

  Hey! this is the great thing about Ableton Live! There are many ways to do the same thing, it about experimenting and figuring out which way works for YOU. find your own workflow that fits with you. Don't feel like you have to master each way.

  Requesting arrangement view on Push 3 misses the whole point of this performance instrument. You don’t want a shittier computer DAW. This is an instrument meant for live looping and composition. Stop asking for this nonsense.

  I think this is a fair request. You can already record and store an arrangement on the Push 3 standalone; people are just asking for the ability to view and do some basic editing. It's not too much to ask for when this feature can be found on many other standalone devices.

  @@pushpatterns Yes, export menu. I exported one song, which had 2 audio lines but today I could not, in which 3 audio lines were present. I don't know why. I tried everything but no joy. It should not be that hard.

  @@plusran@plusran Ah, ok, you need to go into the preferences in the AKAI MPK and Sith sync from internal to external and make sure you have sync enabled in Ableton lives prefects in the output ports section.
