I spent my night battling food poisoning. I remember hearing forecasts for this one a couple days ago. I had to go to the store a little bit ago and the radio said it was a cat 4. I thought for a moment I blacked out and it's not Sunday. Holy cow.

Well that escalated quickly. You said in the previous video that it would probably strengthen to catagory 3 by tonight or tomorrow and then a couple hours later I read that it had already strengthened to catagory 3 and was predicted to hit catagory 4 by noon today. Crazy stuff.

Watching from Tampa. I'll be watching every storm this summer. I'm afraid this is the first of many.

I am on coast of MS, went through Katrina when it hit MS and my son who went through Katrina lived in Fort Myers during Ian. You bet everyone is watching this. Especially after the total screw up of predicting where Ian would go.

I want to thank you for covering the topics so well. I lived in Naples Florida and I got hit by Hurricane Wilma, then Hurricane Irma. I moved to North Florida in 2022 and got slammed by Hurricane Idalia. I live south west of Live Oak and I don't have television so I had no Idea how bad Hurricane Idalia was and got quite a bit of damage, the houses were fine, but the animal shelters and my barn was hit hard.

I've done days of research on hurricanes for a science project, I was telling my group that I was working with that "I think a hurricane could form soon because of the atlantic tempature" they all agreed with me. My part of the presentation was about intensification and damage. Intenstification is a part of this but never a Tropical Storm to a CAT 4 hurricane is less than 24 hours.

Don’t forget Hurricane Audrey in 1957 formed in the Gulf and hit Sw Louisiana Was a cat 4

Keeping a close eye on this one, we live on the coast of Texas close to the Louisiana border. Had our share of bad ones, and I don't have a good feeling about this one. We are a bit more prepared this time but nothing can prepare you 100% for these monsters.

This April/May gave me 2011 vibes in terms of storms in the Central US, so it makes sense that we're going to see a hurricane season like 2011, too.

I'm heading to Florida on Tuesday and will be there or wendsday/Thursday so hopefully I'll be safe but I'm keeping prays for others

Jesus got his promises and prophecies wrong (read Matthew chapter 10, 16, and 24 to start). Deuteronomy 18:20-22 warn us against people like Jesus who get their words wrong. Praying to Jesus will do nothing he is a false messiah and the bible is the proof and evidence of this!

The Gulf of Mexico is HOT best hope it doesn't make a pit stop at the Gulf Hurricane Gas Station! I am on the coast of MS and watching closely, while I doubt we will get hit buy it direct it will go back east once on land and we will get rain. Then again I remember the total screw up of predicting Hurrican Ian that hit Florida. So I will watch.

There will be damage, rain, wind , sea surges . Also too some inconvenience, but we will be see it through
