Unfortunately humans continue to burn fossil fuels in this case coal oil and natural gas and carbon dioxide that continues to be released into the atmosphere. We've been doing this for nearly 240 years and between 5 to 6 billion humans are now emitting 34 billion tons of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere carbon dioxide and methane are powerful greenhouse gases Earth has had five major mass extinction events and three of them were caused by volcanic release of greenhouse gases. In those events, the global temperature decrease to such a high temperature come out nearly 60 to 90% of all biodiversity and life on Earth became extinct the Hurricanes of the time period they turned out to be category 6 hurricanes with wind speeds of 200 mph. There is evidence left behind have these powerful hurricanes. Coral reefs have been ripped off of the ocean floor and the size of these coral reefs are the size of a small house. The storm surge was so strong it pushed them up onto the beach heads of Caribbean islands

We have come upon a time of rapid change. I try to find my place in it versus worry about the out come. It's just new lessons to learn from. It saves me a lot of anxiety. Have a great day all.

I remember Maria. It feld like my house was going to lift up. There were hurricane 🌀, twister 🌪️ and earthquake. Thank God I were prepared. I even had my aunts, husband and cousins in my house. That helped me to be more calm. Had food for everybody. Just prepare. This season is going to be very active.

Despite these hurricanes, i love the Caribbean Islands. Spicy food, vibrant culture, simply beautiful

Yes so the danger with the thermal radiation penetrating deeper into the ocean surface, it takes much longer for the energy to be released back into space in the fall and winter. This could increase the length are the hurricane season and increase the annual total of hurricanes

Thanks again Jonathan, was looking forward to your upload as you are the best presenter - straight to the meat so to speak. Quite a few of us have our opinions about this phenomenal development but those of us who fear God know He is the ultimate over-ruler and He delights in mercy. We just need to do our best to live right and trust Him. What He does not deliver us from, He gives us grace to endure. Currently in Barbados, it is overcast, the wind is short of gusty. I would imagine we will get very strong winds when that heavy feeder band reaches us, along with heavy rainfall and flooding but am grateful that the worst of it will remain far enough to the south. Heartfelt prayers for those in the lower Windwards as well as Trinidad and Tobago.

Hurricanes in the Caribbean rarely track this far south and I went through two that did. I was in Trinidad and 5 at the time. Hurricane Flora in '62 I think, and Hurricane Alma in '72. Tobago got thrashed in both of those! I have a lot of family in T'dad still! I used to believe that they tracked South like this every 10 years! I left in '76 though and I don't think any have gone this far south until now!

This should not be possible. This trend of tropical storm formation happens in late August into September and in this season it's happening two months in advance. And this is just the beginning of the season. Praying to all this season. It's gonna be a tough one.

I'm a little concerned with the eyeball replacement it looks like it's going to happen and also looks like it's going to jog a bit more North once it is replaced. Something just tells me once the eyewall replacement happens.. this thing will get larger maybe not so much more intense but larger in size and maybe even slow down a few miles per hour. I do worry about the jog North by late tonight a slight jog North. I know the models are not calling for it but it's just what I see, either way I'm praying for everyone in the path right now and the rest we can iron out as it passes Jamaica.

I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (zoe), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!🇺🇲❣️♥️❤️

Am concerned about these small ,vulnerable islands and citizens .God 🙏 is in control. Most of these islands rely on tourism as the main foreign exchange earner. Am also concerned about visitors who have paid to travel to the islands. Also, , I am worried about visitors who are on the island witnessing a hurricane is scary. Airports may be closed. Roads may be impassable, due to fallen trees and floods no electricity or drinking water . Let us pray. . Very comprehensive weather report. Excellent communication skills
