I really want to hate on the fact that this is over $4000/mth. The planning and execution are impeccable. The view is amazing. The use of space is phenomenal. The bathroom is gorgeous and spacious which is important for a big guy like me. I'm glad you asked to see it with everything extended too. This apartment is everything I would ask for as a minimalist and the view can't be beat. My only question would be: Is this feasible in an area that doesn't NEED to make the most of its space like NYC? This seems like something that wows because of its location. Like I said, $4000+ a month wouldn't fly in most of the US, but as population density increases I see the future value in this design mindset.

Sort of thing all countries should be looking at. Still a ridiculous price but so much a better than so many places Cash shows us for higher prices. Some great ideas

I really like this. I’m in Southern CA and rents for boxy studio apartments are so $. All I really want is a way to separate my bed from the living space in a way that makes it private without looking jenky and cheap like with a flimsy divider or an IKEA bookshelf. With this setup I’d probably prefer to make the “office” area wider as a place for a bed, but on the far side of the room rather than somewhere people can see directly into it when they enter the apartment. Basically like converting any studio into a “Jr 1BR” that doesn’t damage the apartment.

We need this in Hong Kong and Tokyo. It would add so much living space into this a studio apartment. Wonderful design.

Beside the location and amazing views, this studio is very practical and modern for a single person. Too bad there is no rolling down dining table. Finally, I see a walk- through closet.
