It's a fantastic layout for occasional getaway, a few weeks or even months. The layout might not be practical if you plan to live on it full time. But I love the concept of a happy jack and the plaster cement thing. This is an amazing first time build. Kudos to this couple.

Love the layout too. Could be because standing height is 5’6” under bed. Could also be it might only work on a 170 sprinter or any of the longer wheelbase vans. Would be interesting to see if someone did this layout in a shorter van

@@TocciTours It could be possible, though there certain things that could be omitted (less cabinet space for instance). That wall to the driver side might have to be removed for extra room. Would love to see someone's take of this layout.

After careful review, this is the #1 build on the van life circuit hands down. Full bath, bed lift, full seating opening to the sliding door, full kitchen and plenty of storage. The 2 sinks are mind blowing.

A great van build. A SMART bedding elevated and layout. Accomodation for guest '8' is real architectural decor.

I'm speechless. And I cannot believe this is their first build. This van is amazing. Congratulations on building this beauty.

I'm currently living in my first unplanned van life situation. It is so freeing and relaxing. Fist I did was 300w solar. I just received my 200Ah of LiFePo4 last week and haven't gotten around to them yet. I know it will be amazing compared to my refurbished 20Ah AGM. My added benefit/room is an observatory! I do some astronomy and use the sliding door as my observatory door with my scope standing ready. I keep scope weighted down and bungee it up to roof so it rides fine and always ready. I just unhook the roof bungee and can set it outside in seconds. Separate red solar led strand for the astro nights. I also do amateur radio and CB and often run 500w output and setup home base antenna to do better. The LiFePo4 and solar are mainly to power my radio rig off-grid for a weekend or more. Well that was the plan until I moved into the van now I have 2x large TV's, a bed, cook tops, potty, heater, AC options coming next year and customizations like dividing wall with door, window and vents to separate the living area from front and side entrance. I think vans are becoming more and more important in our society with the ever increasing cost of life and the people/individuals (sheep if you will) becoming more sour. I need this 'out' to happen so I have insurance against home loss or dangers that may force an impromptu move like fire or flooding. Good to have a lifeboat! Our society is fragile and looks prone to collapse, I don't trust it. My safety and freedoms are my responsibility!

I have been binge watching van tours for a couple of days now and i keep coming back here, this is the best design ever. Nothing compares to this van

They are such a lovely down to earth couple. I'm super impressed how they give credit to anyone that inspired them.

This is the best design I love the most throughout the years of watching vanlife.

I've watched a lot of "Van Build" videos on a variety of KZread channels. I have to say, this is my number one all-time favorite van build! Great set-up. Great colors. Great flow of movement in the van. Having the "bedroom" above the "living room" is great. The ONLY thing I would change is the cook top. I prefer to cook with gas. Thank you for sharing this build!!

Thank you! We also debated a lot, and personally I prefer cooking on gas always. But we decided in the van that safety and practicality wise it just makes more sense to go induction.

Gas require extra tank, so extra storage, limited in such type of builds. Also produce specific smell & burn oxygene, so I vote for current decision.

HANDS DOWN the best rv build I’ve ever seen. The layout makes sense, the style (its a architectural/design masterpiece), the functionality… It checks all the boxes, Im in LOVE.

Seriously one of the nicest camper vans I have ever seen. The attention to detail, the styling and the usability. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into making this and making it not only very homey but functional as well. Kudos to them for such an inspiring build!

I have watched hundreds of videos on van design and this, without doubt, is the most tasteful, practical and best looking one I have seen. Just fantastic, beautiful and totally unique. WOW! Congratulations, what a brilliant piece of design and build!

I'm just floored that this is your first build. It's so sophisticated and elegant, as if the result of many previous builds. I can't imagine how much better it will get. Agree about 2 wheel drive. Love the sensibility on every level.

The best layout so far. Clean, spa-like, and I love the fact that the bathroom is in the back & the toilet can be tucked away. But and BUT For me ... instead of a wall separating the front... I'd just use a nice curtain, drape, or some kind of covering that you could roll up to be held up with a nice string, ribbon, rope ...

This van is like an Italian Villa on wheels! ❤ Kyle, Awesome job! Great video of an amazing Van.

$226,000 for this van. Good lord, I wish I had that kind of money to buy a toy with, haha. Amazing work!

If they did build it in a community with other van builders, I’m sure this layout has been replicated at a much lower cost.. the layout is probably the best I’ve ever seen.. and the bed doesn’t necessarily need to be on a lift at all, which I am sure is an expensive component.. One could literally just add some extra cushions and boards and stack them in the seating area to create a bed, and then replicate most of the rest of the layout to a similar calibre of quality, and in any other type of van, I should think.. Did you scour their YT channel to find out their budget ? Just to verify .. And thanks, btw :)

@@IyoLu the bed does need to be on a lift because it will just be a giant hassle to have to lower your bed every night when u are beaten from the day i feel like. Thats also the main reason how they fit the bathroom and in my opinion even after that space requirement reduction the back of the van feels claustrophobic with the insane amount of storage they have put

STUNNING! Bravo to these young people who have a great eye for design, functionality and practicality.

The bed there is amazing, saved so much space and gives a proper living room feel. The fact you can sit in the living room or lie in bed with the door open is epic. Would be good if you could stand up there though.

Fantastic build. The new owners are going to be very happy in it. Love the bathroom in the back.

I watched hundreds of RV vid's, I just cannot get over your build, hands down the best, absolutely gorgeous to say the least!

I have seen hundreds of van layouts, too, and didn't think anyone could come up with a new one. This is definitely one of the best ideas. Nice materials and workmanship. It is none of my business, but I wonder why they sold it and how much it sold for. Also, bench seats are normally horrible to sit on, but these look a little better: maybe wider with better cushions. Great build!

Fantastic little van! LOVE IT! I love the wood engraving on the door the lady did! Would love to have seen a close up but I get the general idea. That is really cool personal little touch! Love the walnut veneer and the lighting and the general mood in the van.

This is the best layout I ever saw. Clean, livable and cozy! I would have used a "high top" van to gain more room for the bed so just in case one needs to rest in bed and the other one has to work on the laguna table they both can but this is near perfection to my taste! ❤

Ingenious design. I would replicate that any day over some of these other layouts. Love it!

No one talks about how expensive the consumables are for the dry flush toilet. It may be a simple solution, but it's not cheap.

Agree but have to ask you want is worth it. Time to clean up a compost, pay for replacement bags, or deal with cassette. Almost pick your poison situation. Someone that has been around all 3 of those I pick dry flush

I love this layout. The toilet and shower, wow, it's brilliant. In all the builds this room always disappoints either because of space, layout or product used which causes unnecessary work. Here, they nailed it. WOW so impressed!!

I've always believed that the most premium real estate in a van gives a view out the sliding door. These guys nailed it. I think it might have something to do with line of sight giving a feeling of space in what is actually a tightly constrained area where everything is modular and miniaturized.

This is simply incredible! You guys thought of everything! It's the kind of perfect van I've been looking for. You guys are amazing. It has everything in big enough sizes without being cramped. This must be a very huge van. So well laid out. Thanks for sharing. Will follow on Instagram.

Not only was it an incredible van build (which btw, mind blown!!!), but you also had the perfect backdrop for the video with the parasailor showing up in the right spots as if on cue. Way to go, Kyle!

This is by far the BEST build i have ever seen for a van. The bed on risers is always a plus, but the fact that it's up front by the entrance which doubles as a full seating area makes this van extra top notch. The FULL spacious bathroom and shower send it into the stratosphere. This van is better than some professionally made motorhomes. Well done!

You pull the shower curtain to block the vanity from shower water.

A really smart design, love the bathroom. I think having a full bathroom is a must.

We will give you credits and just admit we've stolen the design when anyone ask where we came up with the idea. We got a local saying ''better stolen well than badly conceived''. It seems like you guys got everything right.

I love the function of this build. Everything they did made sense!

Laveo sounds great until you do the math and realize it’s at least $1.50 per use. I’m also not about to just use pee powder and have guests or drive down the road without it being flushed. It would cost $9 per day if I was alone and a lot more with someone else around. Maybe if you’re a guy and only use it a couple of times a day it might not be bad, but I’m not a guy and really don’t want to shell out $200 or more per month for using something I own.

You have some points. But as someone that knows this industry I need to ask, have you tried or seen all other options? Realistically there are 4 options (compost, dry flush, cassette, incinerator). Out of the 4 I believe dry flush is the best option and I’ve used and seen all 4. The people using compost love it and that’s totally fine. But to your argument of spending money, I don’t want to spend cleaning a compost toilet. To rebuttal your comment on driving around with pee in there, using the gel makes it so there’s no smell and it doesn’t slosh around plus it’s very deep. I’m not putting down your opinion but if you want to argue a topic then also try and give a solution. For the ones that have lived full time I think a high majority have said dry flush is the best. Side note: incinerator is likely the best but for a van it takes too much power

​@@TocciToursThe incinolet and similar tiolets need a dedicated 20 amp circuit, and it draws a lot of power. I agree with you the dry flush toilet is the way to go, unless you want a black water tank and the stinky slinky to drain everything.

By far my favorite van I have ever seen. This is what I've invasion since looking into van life.

I’ve spent over a year watching every van conversion video I could find and this is by far, the BEST layout and color scheme I’ve come across! I’m in awe! I love a dark and moody boho style!

Love the creativity, the color palette, the materials and design and functionality of your build and it’s your first build which blows my mind. Great job oh and the wrap too you guys hands down one of my favorite builds. Look forward to your next build
