I have seen in a few of your videos that you talk about native and invasive species of mice. Do you have a video expanding on this topic? How do I know which of these I am catching in a live trap and how to proceed? (I live in Toronto Canada, would this effect your answer?)

I have to admit, this mouse trap video was sure the most entertaining with the luxury hotel fish tank with all of the amenities.

2:57 this may be my messed up way of thinking, but let’s say you made a trap like this and made it mostly wheels connected to a shaft to produce small amounts of electricity. It would definitely be ineffective, but seeing most of the wheels moving because of the rats would be very fascinating to see in my opinion

Would it be unethical to use those mice in that wheel to generate power?

Its funny how they love food so much that even when he is making them get out of the bucket, three of the six mice stop for a second to smell the corn cob, before making their getaway. 😄

A little dangerous the way you drilled that corn. For safety she you may want to consider putting it in a vice next time, or maybe rig something up with the PVC pipe and an end cap.

A slowly rotating drill in a 5cm diameter corn? It is a *little* dangerous, yes. If he uses a vice, the equivalent danger is that his hand gets crushed.

Shawn I love the new bucket setup that leads to "mouse paradise". Very smart setup and I bet that's even deep enough to catch a rat without it escaping.
