This Cassowary Can Kill You

This is a re-upload of last week's episode because there was a super loud and awful audio glitch towards the end. Sorry for your ears!

Attacks on humans are relatively rare. Those attacks that do occur overwhelmingly involve food from people. One of the most recent incidents came in 2012, when a tourist in Queensland, Australia, was kicked by a cassowary off a ledge and into a body of water but remained unharmed otherwise. One of the most famous attacks (and the only one known to result in a confirmed death) occurred in 1926: one member of a group of teenaged boys hunting cassowaries was killed after a cassowary leapt upon him while he was on the ground. The bird slashed the boy’s jugular vein with its long toenail., So unless you are on the ground and it slashes your throat. You will be fine!

I mean, if you actually played even the first 5 minutes of FC3, you’d know the plot involved being stuck on the island where you’re surrounded by people who wanna kill you. And in a situation like that, you eat whatever you can get your hands on, endangered or not. Sorry, but no sane human will choose starvation over killing a cassowary or tiger.
