It looked absolute dog $hit when he threw it in his league live stream Tuesday. At one point he said, he needs just to stop bowling. But hey, "Storm Staffer" just trying to sling the product. I'll give him that. He knows what he's about! You can make anything look good on an edited video!

He at least had a 5 bagger going during the first game. The issue is when you are bowling by yourself on a fresh shot you are breaking down the lane only in YOUR line. When you have 9 other bowlers during league constantly throwing various lines around yours, you are sooner or later in league play going to see a different reaction. That’s why I prefer to see reviews on highly transitioned or burned up lanes.

It's just not a ball for the fresh. Plus, it is basically a Hustle ball with a premium price tag. Maybe there isn't something in the Hustle line just like the Blackout. Maybe there is. But there sure COULD be if there isn't. This ball doesn't interest me at all.

I’d. Love a Lightning, but I can’t see paying $190 for what is essentially an upgraded Hustle. Put it into the Thunder line, and we’re talking. And before you say stop complaining about the price, that’s not a complaint, it’s an honest observation. The Road is in the thunder line, same cover, same ai core tech. Makes sense to put the Lightning there as well.

I normally buy 2 of the same balls. And recently I've been thinking about drilling extra balls for house and tournaments. Just drilled up a 2nd P2 and Vebo. This lightning would be great after the P2 or vebo. Another stellar video.

Yah. You can’t ever really tell what these people really think of the balls because they are all either sponsored or looking to get sponsored. So far we have a seven way tie for “ball of the year” and it’s only May1st.

I drill the same ball in series not parallel. When my favorite ball gets old I get another unless no longer available.

I can’t even watch your videos anymore man ! Every new ball is the BEST BALL. Being on storm staff is probably the worst thing that could have happened to this man.

Or you can just watch the video and see the ball and its motion for yourself.. Most bowlers can watch a video and see the ball and see if it fits their game regardless of how good or bad the person throwing it says it is

I have 2 IQ tour emeralds I got from a Buddy of mine who is now sponsored by ebonite so I bought ALOT of his storm/roto grip/900global balls off him and the emeralds are drilled identical but one has a longer pin to cut then the other. The longer one I throw ALOT and I love it for having it being drilled right handed but I am thinking of having the other emerald drilled either with a strong pin down layout I used on the marvel s I got from my dad.

That cover works in both dry and wet houses. 2000 or 3000 for oily house. Shined up at dry house.

I have multiple phaze 2's with different layouts.

Ball of the year? Way too early to say that. I drilled 2 Proton Physics - one pin up and the other pin down. They are still super strong in oil and I love that series. I also have a Hammer Effect and a Rotogrip Idol Ultimate. I love them both too - especially the new Idol.
