This $70,000 Ammo Bunker makes a great Pew Pew Vault

Ғылым және технология

Atlas Survival Shelters installs an underground bunker that will be used as a Pew Pew vault and doomsday bunker on a Texas ranch. A barn will be built over the bunker after we leave. Great editing and music in this complete installation from fabrication to covering with dirt. The size of this vault is 10X20. The same size as seen on that episode of OFF THE RANCH except this bunker has so much more and was built much heavier using I-beams. This bunker cost $70,000, and includes tons of storage in the walls for food and ammunition, an NBC air filtration system, gas-tight doors, a mud room, bullet-proof hatch, a shooting port-hole, polyurethane floors, LED lights, and bigger stairs. THANKS FOR WATCHING! PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!

A lot of attention to detail while keeping it simple. Everything seems to be thought about, everything well built, and I was surprised by the cost of it. Also, I tried to think about the “what if’s” when building or planning anything, and you had a solution for my “what ifs”. A job well done sir 👍

At 10:50, make sure next time when using steel chockers to put a guard around where it rubs on the edge as you lift. So when it moves, it won’t mess up the coating. I was on an iron crew up north building gas plant a while back. Rigging is fun and hard work! Some of the shackles can be very heavy!

What about duct tape over the intake 4 people inside a day or 2 before they pass out/die? Not knocking your intake nothing is full proof I just like to think outside the box. I'm sure a intake really far away from the hatch would be better as they wouldn't associate it with the bunker especially if you disguise it like a lamp post or something with vents underneath the light or build it inside the walls of the home and make it look like a roof vent.

I enjoy your videos. And you do seem to produce a superior product than the other guy. But, those fasteners will not be there 150 to 200 years from now due to galvanic corrosion. Even encased in concrete, they will corrode. As well will the bolt holes on the bunker. The corrosion will spread until it eats holes through the walls. You should use a polymer type washer and bushings to break the conductivity between the metals as well as installing a few zinc anodes inside. Just some constructive criticism.

It the bad guys chased you into that bunker, wouldn't they just have to put a plastic bag over the air intake and wait you out?

Holy damn I never realized that. I mean he does hide them underneath things like old barrels and stuff in some of the non hidden-bunkers. But damn if they found out were you are you'd be pretty screwed.

for me, this is just one version of a hidden firearm storage or budget shelter, nothing come close to a self-sufficient one, these guys possibly never being in real survival situation like war or something likely, besides food, water, power, air for example you easy to get gassed or gas yourself from being polluted, what about flooding, earthwake, and basic key like no exist at all, worst than a rat tunnel...

Oh, that's cute. Most preppers severly underestimate amount of water needed for daily survivial. Hint: drinking part is a tiny fraction of a fraction of daily water need. 99% of bunkers I've seen so far don't have a clue about it. This one included.

one thing i'd mention on interior welding. 36:00 SCBA !!!!! fumes 37:26 can really do some lung damage. ventilation , ventilation, ventilation. On top of Hydraulics, once the structure is built. Maybe a counter weight/pully system above the door or a hand crank winch to aid in lifting the lid manually if the hydraulics ever fail years from now? nice finished product and air system is awesome well thought out

exactly! -ducttape the vents -drill the hatch fill it with sand/concrete/water/whatever -drill the vents fill it with sand/concrete/whatever -weld the hatches shut or just put a big rock on it. you can go on forever about ways to kill the occupants and then later return to ''pick the loot'' the only way a bunker works is if no one knows and no one can see where it is. no visibile hatch no visible vents escape hatches are nice and all that but when a malicious group is waiting for you to come out they pick you off one by one climbing out. you can never talk about it to anyone not your husband/ wife not your children not any family or friends because someone always spills the beans, and remembers that you have that. id much prefer an above ground bunker concealed as a home with escape hatches in the woods or somewhere else hidden. and vents hidden as chimneys or in hollowed out trees or whatever else one can think off.. its good for a pew pew vault, great for a tornado shelter etc but for a shtf?? go to a desert or mountain range.

They sell this garbage to suckers 100%. Nothing they make would keep you safe. That's why I call these glorified storm shelters lmao. I watch this trash when I'm bored for laughs. Especially when they refer things to like nuclear blast doors etc 🤣. It's hilarious.

I like the new format. But could do with silence or really low volume music. The same music over and over gets monotonous. Plus most KZread creators use the same or similar music tracks make it even more monotonous. Otherwise great video.

@@jmbman I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Democrats are stupid. I'm sure they think Republicans are stupid for ignoring climate change, and they may very well be correct. It isn't our place to say which side is right, only to contrast the ways in which they are different. One may very well make the case that because Democrats live in cities they couldn't buy a bunker if they wanted to.
