I say that these customers get together and file a class action lawsuit against them for handing off a hazardous product that can actually hurt them instead of helping them. Also, for poor quality and craftsmanship. They should get at least part of their money back also since Atlas had to fix everything.

To the people who actually afford a bunker: You've got to do your homework or hire someone to do the research for you. Take the time to go look at them, hire an expert to go with you, ask for references, check the BBB, look online at company reviews, do comparisons such as realtors do when selling a house. That last bunker was sooooo expensive! I can't imagine having that kind of money. I would love a bunker but I have no money for one. Thanks for the video and giving information to those that can afford a bunker.

Hey Ron, just wondering if you could make a really long ramp instead of stairs for this guy. That would make it a lot easier for him in the future if he was in a wheelchair. I realize that the materials would be a lot more due to the added length. I would also imagine that the door would have to be longer to make the angle. One of your bunkers is in my dreams…..

@@blankblank8110 ADA says 1' of ramp per 1" of height. But a private ramp wouldn't need to be ADA. Triple the ADA incline and the total ramp would be 50', needing 25' of space if there was a switchback. It wouldn't be cheap but the guy with the 2 canes got me thinking. Rising s offers the Swiss air filtration with hand crank. They charge more for it. I think in many cases the customer is opting for cheaper stuff. They offer less steep stairs. They offer fully welded 3/8 walls. They offer 4x4 exterior skeleton on 24 inch centers. They offer outwards opening blast doors. The one thing I haven't seen is downward opening sand filled escape hatches. I just looked their website over and see all of these things. I didn't see 8 foot ceilings offered. I think the customer is cheaping out in a lot of what you see. They haven't saved to get the good stuff from them. They save afterwards and pay you to fix what they bought originally.

I like the idea of them but to be fair I think I’d rather succumb to the bombs I’m unlikely to feel it as I implode and I’d rather that than the disorder that comes after it’s safe to come back to the top and that could be hundreds of years no bunker will hold that much food and supplies, great idea I live them just can’t see that everyone will survive fallout in one, it would be hard to test them or others

HVAC is the hardest part of building a house and it's the hardest part of building a bunker. You have to have a great sump pump system and drain pipes that drains everything under the bunker. Mine is all concrete. I still haven't finished the HVAC to my satisfaction. If you try to build you own I highly recommend buying the swiss air system from Ron.

Hey I had a question, have you ever done a basement garage ?. What about skylights ?. Looking for multipurpose bay for a big trailer, 60 feet by 16 feet w, 12 foot celing made of concrete walls, 16 foot I beam. Not sure about door options or window options, bunker option. Doors would need to be massive, for a bunker and then we need air filtration etc. The garage alone, gives you a pretty solid off grid crash pad. This is what I want, a basement garage with skylights. It would be a expensive utility building but, worth it once you have it. I don't need a view to sleep anyways, or even windows, so it would be more efficient to be under ground with my trailer. I would just put a 450l cooler in the floor, underneath the I-Beam so I can just pick them out, with a hoist and load them back down into the floor, out of sight and out of mind, then we can even put a sump pump down in there, a drain. Nobody will suspect your pump room, is also your safe room, it will look nasty in there, they will see a pump and reservoir and they will likely move on, but you can put coolers wherever you want, including wet and nasty locations. Whatever is inside a cooler like that, will stay in pristine condition without any oxygen or moisture exposure to the elements. Plus, you could lock the hatch door and then park a car over the top or piece of equipment, a tractor something. Ends up being more secure than a bank vault, possibly. Who's going to know it's there, yo move the tractor and get to the pump room !. Maybe, but they would need to work hard just to get in there, then be like oh it's a nasty pump room, then around the corner you keep the boxes of gold and diamonds. Then, you open door and trigger the alarm, you are greeted by a swarm of inbred fossorial Tarantulas. Just get a speaker down there that starts playing "No one here gets out alive", Jim Morrison, as smoke starts to erupt from the walls. What you do now ?. Follow the lights if you want to live, into the fake escape tunnel.

Yeah sure the customer asked for it, he knew best right? NO. Propane is HEAVIER than air and it stays low, you won't know it's there until it's too late. So what, he lost everything plus the cost of that bunker. Settled out of court. Ok. Now what? WHY? I'm going to guess that Rising S (or rising death) has SOMEONE in the gun grabbing administration on their side, because their LICENSES should be PULLED IMMEDIATELY!! They must have some bonehead they're greasing the palms of in the Senate or something.. maybe it's Hunter.. who knows but it's horrific

Someone needs to make bad bunkers so that the rest of us can better appreciate good bunkers lol.

Most people have pets. It would be cool to have a room to mimic a small area so dogs can poop.

A suggestion. Most of us preppers would have no idea Rising S existed if not for Atlas doing spots like this. Nice that you expose them, however, in a way, you are giving them free advertising, even if it's negative. So, I'd not give them the light of day and you shouldn't feel threatened by them at all.
