The third annual Rocky Mountain's Regional and Colorado State Championship were help back to back at Cameo Shooting and Education Center. The event saw almost 400 competitors and volunteers and saw people coming from all over the world including places like Taiwan and Kenya. For four days Cameo was transformed into the largest IDPA match ever with 24 stages and vendors and sponsors from around the world. As a sponsor we got to shoot the match and my my was it a learning experience. Chris and Jace shot in PCC and CCP respectively and it went great for one, and was a train wreck for the other (It was Chris, it was a train wreck for Chris). This was one of the most fun matches we have ever been to and we have to throw out a huge thank you to Wilson Combat the title sponsor and Glock and Ruger for being match sponsors. Glock was even cool enough to send loaner pistols for international shooters to use. Major take aways? The Pistol Caliber Carbine folks are full on gamers, a Canik MC9 should probably be in Back Up Gun division, and the Springfield Saint Victor 9mm shot was better than anyone expect even if Chris didn't.
