Thanks guys. I just bought this camera. Easy plug and play deal but the hardest part of the install was getting the 3M red backing off both camera mounts! It is annoying that you have to be in the car connected to the camera to do anything. But the camera has no display so it's a trade off for a slim camera. Haven't figured out the "safety features" yet. But thanks for the install tutorial that helped.

Yess! That 3m sticky backing was horrible!

I just finished installing my F-200 so I thought I should watch a video to so see how I should of done. There were some tense moments but overall it was pretty easy. One “I can laugh about it now” moment was when I got the rear camera cable all tucked neatly into the headliner and weatherstripping with everything plugged in but with a coil of about 5 feet of cable that I had no place to tuck away. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I was concerned about the quality through a dark tinted window and I do agree I'm impressed. Ours is really well tinted as well so this does give me a possible option here

Is this dash cam a video only, or does it record sound as well? I have looked at about four different install videos and none mentioned sound even though the device has a microphone on it.

Install was a breeze safety features can be turned off via settings as well as speed stamp to prevent incrimination.

My Thankware F70 just died after 6 years! Honestly surprised it lasted so long in the Texas heat! From the video, it seems like the hardwiring kit and the mounting bracket are the same so i should just be able to swap out the old camera for the new one then run the wire for the back camera?

I just got 1. way smaller than i thought it would be. Sits beautifully under the mirror. Just worried the gps will rat me out on certain driving habits. Although im not the worst on the road by far. A honda almost ripped off my bumper cutting me and someone else off and i bought this 20 minutes later.

I've been wanting to get a good dashcam with front and rear. Love the function and design setup helps keep it better hidden as well and out of direct line while driving.

Hello! Love your channel! Since you are using this for videos you will post, did you consider the 2K and 4K cameras too expensive for what you get? I’m trying to decide on a resolution vs. size/cost. Also, was there any way to mount the rear camera to the TOP of the window frame? Putting it on the bottom limits the ability to carry long stuff out the rear window. Thanks!

Honestly they are great dashcams but for making high quality videos they just can’t compete with a GoPro.

1. Does it come with electrostatic sticker? 2. Does it have CPL filter? 3. Should I purchase OBD cable separately?

I'm curious to see how it works in the summer heat!

Rough install on the rear camera. Run the wiring through the grommet.

Hows quality it looks cheap?

can the rear camera align with the mounting point? my rear window is basically flat because its a ram. so im worried it wont rotate that far

Yes it will go completely flat to a window.

Any chance you know if it works with Apple CarPlay, meaning if it is possible to bring up the app via CarPlay? Great video, thanks for creating it.

It won’t pull up in the 4Runner on the CarPlay.

my pro 200 stopped recording in night park mode yet work good any help on night motion it worked first week now nothing at night parking mode

It is a OBD cable that the company offers. Very handy.

I am from the UK it has drained my battery after two days even after been hardware. It is a new battery in my car so it not an old one

That is really odd. I would check the setting to make sure it’s not recording all the time it’s parked. My guess would be that the ignition switch wire is not attached securely and the camera thinks the car is running all the time and draining your battery. Maybe...hopefully this is helpful!!!

@@AdventureBuiltI have it on Time laspse mode. There are other settings. It say in another section of the settings continuous recording mode. But also because I have it on Time lapse mode surely it has to be on continuous recording?The manual never gives you any guidance. Thanks for your help

@@leebones4091 get an EV car or hybrid. problem solved. it wont drain a massive lith ion battery

Turn off vpv, install dash cam link, push wifi button on camera, start dash cam link, enter password, should connect. Make sure internet connection to camera is on and connects automatically, also yoir wifi internet connection to NOT connect automaticall. If still does not work, unistall dash cam link and reinstall. Make sure wifi button is presse before you start application. I spent hours and days installing this lousy software on my Samsung S20 ultimate. Dont give up, it will work. If you dont buy your camera from an authorized dealer, whoever that is, thinkers will NOT stand behind there warranty. Good luck. Thinkware FA200 hardwired with rear camera.

Nice video but i do not prefer more then $200 because almost all cameras are same if you buy $80 Dash Cam , you will get same result , expensive does not mean great , dash cam is important , i prefer everyone should have .

Everyone has their thing. When it comes to electronics and cameras you definitely get what you pay for.

image quality is good compared to what? you can't even read the license plates.

Worst dash cam ever setting it up on your phone is a piece of shit. It will constantly disconnect you don’t listen to your Chevy dealership and definitely don’t pay them to install it. I’m helping my grandfather right now after he got robbed at the dealership.

you did not show where to wire goes from the front to the back. Bad video.
