It really does just put into perspective how LOW the Miata is. I think it's a great quirky accessory to have even just for aesthetics. Mines was deleted, I'm absolutely just throwing one on there for looks.

100 percent on the stock antenna making it look like a rc car! I have the stock power antenna on my NB but I put a switch in so I can retract it when the radio is on.

i doubled down on the RC look by putting a cb with like a 20’ long Wilson antenna in mine. I like the Green / Black scheme. i always try to put new schemes on mine but i prefer to double down on the gayness vibe and only paint them effeminate colors. My favorite is my Lavender / White miata. I also have a Pink / Black

Amazing, I haven't had a radio in mine for a decade but I refused to lose the antenna. I thought might be the only one thought it added to the RC look

I could easily save up and buy one of these but thanks to the emissions law in London U.k,I would have to add £4500 a year to drive it every day.(£12.50 per day).Such a shame.

Looks great for similar things planned for the NB for the spoiler and such. Got the same tyres but different alloy wheels 😅

Not going to lie, the exhaust system does actually improve if you get a proper system. Let's say you got Racing Beat headers with Flyin Miata's exhaust system, they work decently together, I was able to net 10 WHP easily, that and pair it with a short ram intake (behind the passenger headlamp assembly or more recommended the SuperMiata's intake set up), I managed to see 126 WHP 120 ft-lbs of torque on stock ECU. The trick with exhaust systems is in order to make them work well, you need an intake set up with it, as well as proper size pipes. Overall, it depends on your own personal goal with yourself as well as the car.

Of course! I’m always wanting to share knowledge. It’s actually funny that you asked because I’m currently uploading a video about what considerations I had when I was getting it painted. The one thing I didn’t talk about in the video is the turn around. It took a little time because I was waiting on my rear finish panel to come but it took about a month but it can vary with shops. In total it cost about $2000. But if you wait just a little longer, you can watch the video where I go into detail.

If mine needs a hardtop its under the dustcover in the garage. And the oem antenna its perfect for my foam strawberry on top. oem walker stainless catback idles quiet, rips going through the rpm ranges.

You’re one of the lucky ones with a hardtop haha before I removed my antenna, I stuck a little skeleton around halloween. If I end up replacing my entire exhaust system, I’ll take a look at the Walker!

The exhaust Y-pipe, what electronic valve did you use? Nicely done, gets pretty rowdy with it open

It’s not necessarily a new concept, a lot of newer sports cars have a valve to give it a more powerful sound when in sport mode. So I thought I’d do something similar with the Miata :)

I got a nb nardi wheel and rewrapped it with east detailing co leather wrap best oem wheel

I did a antenna delete then modified the in trunk part to still work although there no outside antenna.. where can I get a dashboard cover like that?

I actually had a hard time taking the antenna out and had to rethread it because it was just rusted tight and broke off haha but the dashboard cover is from Moss Miata. Just google Dash Mat by Dash Designs and it should pop up!

Definitely. It was actually pretty difficult to get it flush but that may be because my hardtop is aftermarket or because it was an eBay part. I ended up using caulking to fill any gaps that could cause it to look bad or have wind get underneath it. I have another video of the install that you should check out!

if you're gonna add an aftermarket exhaust on a miata then it's only worth it if you get Headers/High flow Cat/ and a Catback exhaust. It will add 9-10hp and it's noticeable on a NA miata

The previous owner swapped them out from a Miata M I believe. BUT I think you can buy some online but I’m not sure where to point you on that one. Sorry!

I got it from SPELAB. Just search SPELAB exhaust cutout. I got the 2 inch for the oem exhaust but double check your exhaust inner diameter.

I added a link where you can buy the same exhaust cutout. All you would need is that part and then decide if you’re going to weld it on, which I suggest, or use exhaust clamps. Edit: it looks like I didn’t post the link lol but I got it from SPELABS and they have different types. If you stick with the original exhaust, you’ll need the 2” tube exhaust cutout

There isn’t necessarily a name that it was but I can do some research and find the exact brand and code number. I think the closest “name” would be Kawasaki green.

exhausts are honestly so important for those 1.6s

i didnt realize my car has that steering wheel cover. I do like the way it feels if anyone is interested in it!

I put a flag on my oem antenna so it looks more like an RC car

first, I need a Miata/Mx-5; then once that is acquired, I'll consider these 11 things. so, mission #1, "get miata". 🏁 the one thing you need (and maybe it's next) is shark teeth. make it look mean and ppl will move out of your way 😬 (a bunch of vinyl triangles) 🔻🔺🔻
