Things I Like About My Street Triple RS!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Another one.. Now, please bear with me as im still new to this whole "talking to the camera" thing. I find it quite difficult to talk and think about the road and what i should/need to be doing. But enjoy a nice saturday afternoon ride where i talk about the things i like about my 2024 Triumph Street Triple RS! Sorry for getting off topic a bunch, if i included everything it would have been a 45 minute video.. So sorry if its all over the place!

    Nice motovlog love the chitchatting aspect. I’m like you I came from dirt bikes as a kid. The hardest part of learning a street bike was to trust the front brake. That is why the front brakes are beefy on a street bike, because they should be used first. I started street biking 5 years ago and moved from 803cc to 937cc Ducati’s. Now I just bought the Speed Triple RS. Can’t wait to pick it up Saturday. It is an addiction but it’s a good one:) keep vlogging and be safe.

    Nice start to motovlogging. Your audio sounds great. I agree with most of what you said. I don’t know about an aftermarket exhaust though. My dB meter goes off on my Apple Watch (90dB) which means it’s already pretty loud. My ear meter agrees. Conversely, the Ducati Scrambler I traded for the STR never set off an alarm, until I bought a Leo Vince slip-on - and that was too loud, literally, without a dB killer. I love the stock sound of this engine and it’s the first bike that I can say that about (I’ve owned many). The cruise control is nice, but a little scary on a motorcycle. I still like the option for long trips, but I would never use it with a lot of cages around. I usually replace my levers, as well, however the Brembo front brake setup has that nice little fine tune adjustment (not just the one that moves the lever), I don’t know about changing it. … I think I would add a wind screen to block some of the wind, but the Triumph Flyscreen looks weird to me, and I love the little painted piece in front. Hopefully someone invents a screen that doesn’t require the Flyscreen. I bought the Flyscreen, but I’m not sure if I’ll install it. I would also like more TFT screen menu options. There are only four choices. I love the screen as is, but I want more options. Last change I would make is to the Triumph Bluetooth module. Turn-by-turn navigation is kool, however I want an actual map so I can see where I’m heading, and won’t have to use my phone GPS. That’s what I would change.

    @@ZabDevin Also, Just realized there was so much more to this comment! I totally agree on the TFT showing an actual maps. If they could throw Carplay into it ah that would be sweet. I wont do a Fly screen just because i really like the agressive look of the current trim, maybe if a company came out with a tinted little addon to the current, then id consider!

    I'm strongly considering a 24 ST RS after riding an MT 09, XSR 900, Tuono, and z900. Im with you in that the Triumph is just flat out a nicer bike. Funny enough i have a stage 2 Audi S3....so I guess im one less than your S4. Anyway, the RS would be my only bike...you think your back and hands could last for a 4-5 hour drive? Love the channel. Keep it up man.

    If I could get over the bug eyed front and the lcd screen, plus the messiness behind the headlights I would love this motorcycle. But I am 1.90cm with long legs and long arms so probably not suited for me anyway. Ps why are all fun motorcycle today so small🥲

    In terms of the exhaust, could a possible solution be to cut the muffler off and weld a small section of pipe to the cat that would accept a slip-on?

  • @motocorn

    @motocorn

    Жыл бұрын

    Im thinking yes. However there is quite a bit of space between the cat and muffler so im assuming, companies will give us the choise to cut our stock exhaust and alow enough room for a slip on. Its 10000% do able. I might try it, but would like to wait for SC or Zard to make an actual kit
