    Nice video and love the Evotech stuff, great bunch of guys (but they're British so they would be). I do have to admit that I am most wary of such rear light/indicator combinations. The odds are against us at the best of times, and I want drivers to know my intentions and am confident that such spurious lights reduce these odds.

    Now you need cruise control, and the Bluetooth connectivity system. They’re both awesome. It’s great to have turn-by-turn GPS, controlling your music, answering calls, view texts, etc., on the dash, and listening, talking via the helmet. I also want the heated grips, but I’ll wait until it gets cold again.

    I build stuff, get it exactly how I want it, get bored and sell it or trade it in.🤷‍♂️ I have a problem for sure!😂 Saying goodbye to my Yamaha FJ09 that I have been upgrading since I bought it. I saw the 2024 Triumph in cosmic yellow and it was game over for my super reliable 2016 FJ09 with that nice triple CP3 engine. Hopefully picking up the Triumph next week. Finding one in cosmic yellow that was less than 500 miles away was hard but I did manage to find a dealer who has one on the showroom floor. Just working out a few details with my trade in. Nice helpful video, i will for sure be doing alot of the same upgrades so thanks for the info!Subscribed👍

Did you do any adaptation for the installation for the QuadLock Stem Mount or just plug and play? Thanks and congrats for the bike, you made it perfect.

    These are the 2 bikes I’m looking at. If you had to have just 1, and were going to commute to work for most of the work week(no highway driving en route) which would you choose? There’s something I like about the trident but when I seen the new 765 it really caught my eye as well, I think I’d get the yellow one which is definitely out of the ordinary for me but it just looks incredible. The trident is about 3-4 grand cheaper, I like the way it looks I just worry I might get bored of it, I’m also not looking to like go race through canyons and go 200 on the highway. Would love to hear your thoughts, really cool collection you have!

  • @motocorn

    @motocorn

    Жыл бұрын

    Well, this is tough because im currently in my honeymoon stage with the 765... If it were me, id go there. I wouldnt say i out grew the trident, but i knew the day i was picking it up, that i would get a street triple. If youre commuting, trident all the way. If youre into it for pleasure, and can afford another 3/4k, then Street Triple 100%. The Trident over all will still be a BLAST to ride, lots of aftermarket support for them now, better gas milage (like double) and way more comfy with the added bonus of the sweet sweet triple sound! The street Triple is just a rocket. It constantly wants to go go go. So nimble and flickable that it really makes you want to ride the hell out of it at all times. BUT, the things you get with the street triple easily justify the price difference. Way better brakes, more power, better fit and finish (down to the bolts). You can truly see where your money is going on the street triple. PLUS, the 2024s (2023 in Europe) now have an option for cruise control. SO if youre using it solely for commuting, maybe that's something you should consider.

    @@motocorn wow thank you for such an incredibly detailed response. I know those kind of questions are really subjective and hard to answer. I’m considering going with the Trident, riding it for a year, and then reevaluating and considering a move to the 765. One last thing to mention, I’m a bit of a taller guy, about 6’3 but I’m not a heavy guy, would that impact your decision at all? Thanks so much for your help, I’ve been in my local dealership a couple times the last couple weeks, they have both colors of each bike that I like, so a decision is going to get made soon.

    @@ChrisDavis333 Youre welcome! Im on the other side of the graph at a scary 5'5.... And i find the trident to be just right for me. The Street Triple is a bit taller.. i think 25ishmm so you might want to think about that. However, the street is more of a tucked seating position so it might be uncomfortable for you after a while where the trident has more leg room. I would highly advise you to ride both and see how you feel :)

    Thanks for the video. I ordered this, after consulting with you, however I also ordered the Quad Lock fork stem kit, and a vibrations dampener. The Quad Lock showed up first, so I installed it. Only reason is I’m have some back and sciatic problems that has progressively gotten worse and its really tough on my leg on stops since I can’t flat foot the bike. Throwing a leg over is pretty painful as well. Anyway, how are you liking it? I’m looking at this, the Ducati Monster SP, MT-09, or the BMW S1000R.
