I never heard the word cum so many times in a lunch break. I took to eating outside on the steps of the office. Those fuckers followed me out. So gross. Not calling him a hypocrite or anything, it's his interviewing method. It's also the reason his show is good because he gets all these guests with varying views to open up. I got a call from my stepsister who's working in Costa Rica, so I stepped out to take the call. A day later the girl I was with confronted me about the girl I was sleeping with, after she went through my phone and found the name in my friends list on Facebook. I let her make an ass out of herself before telling her she's my sister and even if she wasn't she's a lesbian. Then broke up with her. Why wouldn't you just ask who I talked to?

    This is so true for me. Worked in an office for 6 years and it was majority women, about 21/22, and about 8 men including me. It was fun and we had freedom since the supervisor hated his job and always left early. But it got bad when flirtation happened because the jealousy followed. And yes when women are the majority in the situation, they will fight over the men just like how men would if the roles were reversed. It was flattering but also a disaster at the end of the day

  • @GorditaSlim

    @GorditaSlim

    Yup, I've been there. As a married female, working in male dominated fields, I saw men get jealous and hateful too. The few females always became a target for the men to see who could get with her. The women that like the flirting will be such bitches to the other women, not realizing being easy to bang doesn't make them top dog, it makes them look stupid.

    My job in construction is 100% men. Was there 20 yrs. For about 3 months I was once sent to the office to work there with mostly women. It was a shi&$show. Women that are attractive tend to think all men are supposed to just kneel down and worship them. One such girl needed help and started bossing me around with a petty bad attitude and tonality. I told her “come get me when you are ready to ask me politely and are willing to say please ..I don’t work for you and you don’t pay my wages lady”. After that she apologized and that was that. Working with women can be a nightmare. I’m glad I’m on the trades working with 100% men and I pity all the guys who have to put up with that crap

    I've worked at places where they will fire you if you even go on a date with somebody else in the company even if there's no direct reports and you're in completely different departments. That was ridiculously extreme. But banning relationships between people who report to each other in some way is a bad idea and just opens a company to all sorts of legal hassles.

  • @fuzzypanda1684

    It's so ridiculous. Some guys can make leud and very suggestive comments in the workplace and nothing happens to them. I've been hit with an HR case for telling a female coworker that I was friends with that I liked her new hairstyle. Another time I got nearly fired for telling a female coworker that I liked her shoes, I had no interest in her, they were just really cool shoes. The biggest kicker for me was when my manager told me that I smiled too much and it made people feel uncomfortable. He literally told me not to smile so much. I was so shocked I didn't even ask if he could legally tell me to do that. So then I stopped smiling and got pulled into the office and told that I was too serious and it made people feel uncomfortable. I think the universe just doesn't want me to have a job.

    Being a man and treating a wiman right takes work. It takes effort and it requires him to remain emotionally stable and grounded. Men are supposed to be gentleman. When men are working amongst other people doing a job there is already stress. Now when you bring a wman into the picture who has needs and a way she is supposed to he treated, the stress mounts. Both m and w have different stress responses that oppose one another and it become toxic, dark and sad very quickly. Relationships between m and f are sacred and fragile. But when a man is dealt with the responsibility of dealing with other men, then add multiple women to the situation it is a mess and burdensome. Stress does not do good things for either. Wmn absolutely deserve the ability to make their own money but we need to go back to having jobs typically made for each gndr. They are absolutely not meant to work together. I know that is clear to you but you are having trouble accepting it because you're worried about your survival. Please trust God and he will keep you safe and guide you to find purpose, meaning and safety.

    Yep, and I do believe, on a behavioral level, men and women are more alike than they are different. Now, the differences are stark, and maybe that's why they're exaggerated, but in my experience both sexes are pretty predictable in the same ways. People act like we're separate species when we aren't. Humans are sexually dimorphic, but we're also all humans. Frankly, in my experience, the ones that treat men and women as separate species tend to have divorced parents. That's purely anecdotal, of course, but really paints a picture.

We have funny stories and joke around like children! Recently there was a little drama where I confronted one of my favorite guys about something he didn't do. He got upset, we stepped away from each other and then later were both apologizing. There was another female worker who's gone now but man, only the kiss ass boy got along with her. Everyone else kept distance. Working with her made me understand the whole "bossy" conflict. I got along with her until one disagreement happened and she wouldn't even allow me to hash it out or apologize, playing the total victim.

    30 years in the entertainment industry and I have seen with my own eyes that some men are relieved when a woman joins the "team". There are men that get sick of looking and dealing with other men all day long, week after week, year after year. There are variations in personalities among men. Some guys like being aggressive and fucking with each other talking shit, talking locker room. Not all guys like that or want to be around that. Some guys just want to do their job un harassed by other smart ass aggressive guys. No all women like to gossip, not all women want to analyze relationships to death, not all women like being in groups of other women. There is variation in personalities among women. That is what people mean when they say men and women are the same. There are stereotypes in both groups but there are also many individuals who do not fit anything like what Joe and Michelle were describing.

    To be quite honest, things were generally clicking along just fine for about 40 years regarding how men and women interacted in the office. If you asked a person out and they said no, you dropped it. If you persisted then you took it to HR. And it's been generations since claims of workplace harassment have not been taken seriously in the workplace, contrary to how those decades have been portrayed in popular culture. Thanks to that, we have an entire generation (or two) of people who honestly believe we were swatting women on the ass in the 80s like it was nothing and that women were regularly walking into police stations claiming they were raped and the police ignored them.
