    The BIGGEST problem we have here is a narcissism problem which I believe was triggered by and is being catapulted by social media and greed. People feel so invisible and so insecure that they are jumping on any bandwagon to have a voice and feel like they are a part of something important. People need likes and shares like they need air. We are an incredibly insecure society that screams “we don’t need your validation” while simultaneously demanding everyones’ validation. We used to seek validation from people we cared about and people close to us. Now we seek validation from everyone and are hurt and offended when we dont get it. Its a mess.

    100% agree! This is the age of Narcissism! Totally fed and fueled by social media. The narcissistic are the most easily offended, believe their feelings are facts, have low to no empathy for others, need constant outside validation and attention, and have the emotional maturity of a 5 yr old. Sadly some people will torture animals and post videos on KZread just to get likes or subscribers. I sure hope I don’t have to reincarnate !

Not rocket science. Fortunately for the first world, a lot of progress has been made, in spite of the dum dums that we find congealing in youtube and facebook comments sections. In the third world however, the aforementioned concerns have far, far more serious implications in many cases. So not only was your (popular) comment retarded, it's also objectively incorrect.

    I worked at Berklee College of Music in 1991.. we had a new student who had recently begun the transition to female. It came up in a staff meeting for 20 seconds, just as a heads up, and that was it. Literally no one was phased. She used the girls bathroom and since there was only one stall anyway, no one cared. That was 1991. In 2007 I was teaching in Phoenix and.. same thing. Again, no one was phased. Then all of a sudden in 2016 we were about to have all these new regulations where, for example, we weren’t allowed to use the students’ first names for the first two weeks - in case they happened to transition during the first two weeks and might get offended if we used the wrong name. Whaaaaa??? Whyyyy?? The transgender students I ever met don’t generally get offended. I think it was top down govt regulation.

There are original people part of the lgb who dont associate with what it has become now, this before they added the TQ, and they want the TQ removed, there is a different ringleader running that group now.

It's something to think about.Some people are more modest than others...I don't understand why the Trans Agenda is being pushed so much. .That also seems odd since Transgenderism is only 1-2 % of the population. If you shove agendas down people's throats..whether Transgenderism,Equity a tricky word),Inclusion...these all take on a different vibe when it's shoved down our throats. It needs to stop.

    The best argument I've heard for sex being binary is: "100 years from now I could dig up your bones and test your DNA. It could never tell me what you think or how you feel, but it would tell me without a doubt whether you were male or female." Sex is chromosomal. Plain and simple.

  • @theashennamedjerry3203

    Yeah but the trans issue is a gender issue not a sex issue. They way I understand it is that sex is determined by biological factors while gender is more of the role that the associated sex typically has in the species. So you can be male but act like a woman and that would qualify you as a woman but not a female.

  • @davewade30

    @davewade30

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@theashennamedjerry3203 No. That would qualify you as a TRANS woman. Male & Female, Girl & Boy, Woman and Man. These terms were well defined and easily understood for hundreds of years until about 15 minutes ago when people decided that pretending to be something is the same as being that thing. Kindergarteners know the difference. You have to go to liberal arts college to "learn" that sex and gender are unrelated. Which is of course utter nonsense. If people want to pretend to be the opposite sex because it "feels right" to them. I don't judge. Whatever makes you happy, have at it. I'll even call you whatever you want. But I won't lie to myself or anyone else by saying a trans woman is a real woman. Because the truth is what it is. The more lies they can get you to tell, the easier you become to manipulate. The weirdest thing about this subject which has always messed with my head, is that the very people who don't want definitions and labels placed upon them, are the ones who create definitions and labels for themselves and then impose them on everyone else to follow. And then, when those people don't follow those definitions and labels, the ones who have imposed them upon others get vehemently upset about it. I don't understand what that is. Does anyone? I mean really?

  • @chrisgould101

    @chrisgould101

    Kinda. I'll tell you about how I see that. I was a pretty troubled kid, was adopted into a pharmaceutical family wit a narcissist adoptive mother. Because I was different as a child, they saw this as a problem to 'fix' . Because it wasn't in line with their standards then then starts drugging me on many psychotropics to 'control' me. This is how society sees true critical thinking people. They're terrified. These people break down everything they though they knew. The discomfort then sets in. They then need to use labels to think that they understand what they can't understand. The labels are to justify to themselves 'what' this unknown entity is to them. In the case of these sjw identity politic types, it leans much more I believe toward an inward narcissism and sense of entitlement. The labels they make seem to be consistent with a misunderstanding or failure to understand, and a heightened individual need to... vilify and justify the ends of their thoughts, which have been much influenced by the propaganda bombardment of identity politics. We're basically seeing a war of minds. And it's exposing the bad in people also which is good to identify them.

    I think shifting the focus on sex, gender and sexual orientation completely diverts the focus away from poverty, which is almost never represented in popular culture or politics any more. It also provides the illusion of freedom, that we can be who we want to be, while at the same time being constantly surveilled, having our data grabbed and sold, and our civil liberties eroded and with it our ability to protest, unionise, mobilise, not to mention the loss of free speech.

    @Ra Shaan the key well-documented gender-defined personality traits of men and women are higher neuroticism and an interest in people over things. Of course there's more differences documented in our behaviour, which moreso tend to be context-specifc, but generally speaking, yeah - a lot of 'genders' are just labels of certain personality types. personality types are nothing new either, and the entire field of gender literature is very controversial as research requires approval before publication, so rallying trans activists inhibit the publication of research against the findings they agree with, which is pretty tyrannical.

  • @shahtayyib

    @shahtayyib

    Жыл бұрын

    @Ra Shaan moreover, the separation of gender and sex serves no real societal contribution. if gender is truly this entirely social construct, with no true ties to biology (although the LGBT community flips on this whenever they deem appropriate) then it's purpose has to be questioned. if it simply serves to further divide people and limit them, outlining what contributions they should and should not make, it's nothing short of discriminatory and segregating. the newly defined concept of gender promoting ideas of a 'spectrum' is utterly useless. all this would suggest is that we are each individually different to any extent: an idea which psychological literature already evidenced across several decades. tying gender into it seems to only serve the purpose of creating more labels for people to further divide themselves, and the socioethical implications of this can be pretty damning, considering how well it aligns with an early stage of a divide and conquer strategy.

    I could totally understand the situation. I had a similar experience, I was abroad, staying in an apartment(airbnb), and as I was waiting for the elevator, this guy who looked around mid-40ish to early 50 started a conversation saying that he is separated from his wife and moved to this apartment. He asked me if I wanted to come over. No hello, or proper introduction, or small talk at all. I was 26 at the time. Even though we weren't in the elevator, it was more than enough to get scared and, to be honest, creeped out. I smiled and politely declined. The elevator came and he asked me why I wasn't getting on, and I acted like I got a phone call and told him I was gonna take the next one. The guy in the video says the man didn't do anything and was polite, but I don't think he fully understand how scary the situation could turn out. To be pursued in small tight, isolated place? I highly discourage anyone to do that.

    If a guy is completely consumed by sexual desire, he cuts to an active or receptive verbal or physical way to hook. It's pretty obvious if it starts just like that. To a guy it's like reading a text bubble 💭 above another guy's head of "I want you". Guys don't say "come home for cuddles & coffee, I want to discuss & show my feelings & be vulnerable as a man," that's some terrifying skinwalker-esque poor imitation. I don't even know & doubt that many male peers I have, even have feelings... Get me out... Back to subject, like that alien invasion short where the disguised aliens as rednecks welcomed the black guys, a guy saying "aww I want sympathy come home to me" & another guy normalizing it, I'll make it plain, is like the average Western woman on planet Earth saying she loves her hubby for who he is not what he did to her head, that she doesn't more likely have 3 men as ATMs. It was driven home at the beginning but eh. One just need to be honest about statistics & not point at singular cases as a defense strategy, it's said ½ of women will be childless & unmarried by 2030... 20 cats, "leave only 10%" a very popular slogan, yeah a guy saying "look at me be vulnerable" is like a woman saying "I love you, I'll let you be vulnerable to begin with." One can throw the hook at guys, but nah, the dude does nothing at the basis. Ofc if u have a strong counterpart & he's treated as shit, he's unchecked. U get a poor slave which is the only reason u're not crazy in misandry, feminists like u don't hate men just know truth, that u have a counterpart & that the control part is going unwell. I wish you the worst, I see no humanity, sharing, connection in you. A bunch of xenomorphs is the best way of describing white women. I'm worried any kindness I've ever seen by one was purely social programming except for when condescension... Ah shit

    Serious question: if gender is “fluid” as some put it, how can you identify outside of the gender you were born with without acknowledging predetermined stereotypes. What does it mean to feel like a boy? You enjoy doing “masculine” things? Okay, that doesn’t make you a male. That makes you a tomboy, which we always had as a society. He transitioned at age 14 and this family paid for breast implants. To make a long story short, he finally came home at 16 years of age. After a year of deep reflection and support he came to deeply regret transitioning. He basically said it was due to peer pressure and insecurity, he's not even gay. I paid to have his breasts removed but not much else can be done. He struggles with depression due imbalances in his hormones. He's sterile for life and can't achieve erections. If I were 15 in 2022, I'd have my "imperfect" boobs removed, colouring my "ugly" hair blue, and calling myself trans. It's that simple.

All corporations have jumped on board with BLM and LGBT, but if there was a movement of unionizing workers, they would shut it down immediately. Identity politics have been used throughout history as a post-structuralist analysis to quell criticisms of capitalism. That's what you see happening right now. Class is the root of all legitimate identity concerns. Focusing on the interpersonal dynamics of working class people distracts us from dismantling the ruling class.

That can be nothing more than a state of mind or mood in some instances, or if anything more of a psychological and possibly hormonal issue. The problem is that you're biologically a distinct gender, which is discriminated against when it comes to sports because of natural advantages and disadvantages that come with either being male or female. It's not some ploy to invalidate you as a person or demean you in any way, but to preserve the competitiveness and integrity of the games. It's just not fair for someone is biologically male to compete against women in certain sports because of the differences is size, strength, muscle mass, bone density etc.

Most Trans people Transition with HRT(Hormon Replacement Therapy), after a while they have the same Hormonal Household than Cis People. And Hormones change a lot and change our bodies to our Gender we persive ourself with. I have a friend who is a Cis Male, but dosen´t produce enough Testosterone by himself. Which caused him to feel out of touch and couldn´t see himself like a real Man, even though he is Cis. After getting Regular Testosterone Injections he could finally feel more aligned with himself and his Body, what also Trans people feel after a while. And what I find mostly funny about the whole Trans women can not compete in Womens sport because of Biological Adventages, is that it implies they have to compete with man in Sport and Trans Man have to Compete with With Cis Womens. So you have Trans Mans that have the Hormonal advantages of a Cis Man, that have to Compete with Cis Women. Sounds like really fair play /s

The problem is within five minutes the guest has badly misrepresented what happened with Rebecca Watson, which is an indication of the pathetic nature of these two in general. A guy follows her out of a bar onto an elevator to get her alone, making her feel very uncomfortable very late in the evening after she'd been drinking. She makes a video stating as much which is impossible to fathom as a bid deal and then we went through years of harassment and hate aimed at her., with to this day, idiots like this fool in the video blaming her for an incident which no one would remember had a bunch of trash atheist trolls not blown it up and harassed her for years. That behavior destroyed the scene, as few women would take the risk of the that level of harassment for simply stating a guy made her feel uncomfortable by following her out of a bar to get her alone late in the evening. And why would somebody like me hang around to spend time with that sort of trash? I guess it's easy when you're prevarications and outright falsities aren't called out to have a "rational" conversation among two people who already agree with each other. So, yeah preach away as the other commenter said, a hilarious admission that you all are only talking to yourselves in your safe spaces.

Protected from everything and anything" I don't think it's fair to say that people of my generation don't know what the real world is like, I'd actually argue that we know a lot more about the real world than any generation before us, mostly due to the internet being around when we grew up and the debt crisis's that we are burdened with atm, However, I'd just say that I 'personally' think a lot of these problems might have come from the rampant "helicopter parenting" that we were exposed to, I'd say the way you teach people when their very young can severely effect them when they become adults and THE LACK to certain stimuli has probably done a lot of this. You can grow up in a perfect world but still be strong, I've seen it, people in their twenties juggling work, social and family life with insane debt and low pay but still soldiering on, being people. I'd argue that every generation had a problem like this, it's just different now because we use different methods.

    There was an interview where a girl was online, on a pic app. and she was explaining how when she was a teen she was talked into questioning her gender based on simple things like; if you don’t like the way your voice sounds in a recording you might not be the right gender, if you don’t feel comfortable in your body it might be a gender problem. She is now older and likes being a female and wants to save other kids from getting confused.

    Its quite predatory. Literally no one like the sound of their voice on a recording and ALL young people/people feel uncomfortable in their bodies at some point. ESPECIALLY when we have media/social media/ ads that intend to make them feel uncomfortable about some aspect of themselves. We live in a society of constant self judgment - so that some company can come in and sell you the solution to your woe. Seems like its orchestrated this way on purpose.

    The propagation of the gender identity movement by pharmaceutical companies is rarely talked about, but should be. The drug companies have had a significant role in the propagation of the movement, politically and socially. They have made billions of dollars in normalizing the off-label use of drugs for the purposes for which the drugs have not been approved, nor demonstrated to be safe. Likewise, the potential of these changes to become new acceptable precedents in the future for pharmaceutical drug use is also not questioned. Society has not even realized what is actually happening as the wool has been pulled over everyone's eyes. When a movement is shaped to look like a human right issue, anyone can turn a blind to even the most criminal and questionable acts.

    The SJW movement started long before elevator-gate. It goes right back to the 90's, even mainstream media started pushing it in the 90's. It started with the feminist movement, then was adapted for LGBT then most recently African Americans. They all use similar themes and methods, and they are now a power bloc under the Democrats. It started when the democrats sold out the working class, they needed something to stay relevant, a platform, and social justice was born. They realized early on that accusing others of sexism/racism was very effective at shutting people up and destroying opponents. This is why social justice has become so extreme and radical today.
