Just imagined the difference the way the media would be talking about what Todd said if he had a British accent, the guy didn’t even say anything untrue and is now having his words twisted by the British media. And players like lavia gusto palmer chukwumeka Jackson caicedo enzo and many more where all wanted by multiple other clubs

In the second half of the season we’re top 4 and that includes us drawing 2-2 to burnley & sheffield when we should’ve won. This should’nt be a talking point now, maybe 3 months ago

Good side when they're on it, next season or 2 they could be dangerous imo, Some good, pacey skillful players, physically strong defenders, one or two big tough centre or defensive mids & they'll be doing the business, maybe a new GK. You can't benchmark chelsea off one arsenal game played with a terrible lineup, you have to look at the whole second half of the season. Chelsea have clearly improved over the season and got a draw at arsenal earlier in the season

People always use this stick to beat Chelsea on they have spent a billion Half of that is in the treatment room I don’t want to hear the excuses of injuries when the criticism of other teams comes up in future

Chelsea had already recouped almost half of that 1billion. Secondly...most of the guys are kids... Some on loan, some still to come of age before coming to Bridge. Some on injury table.... Example... Nkunku Lavia Fofana... I don't see any 1 billion spent.

The performances against Liverpool in both cup finals (obviously with a different end result) 2. The performances against Man City - Home and Away. This dude definitely didn't watch/see those games.

Paul Merson Sometimes has great analysis but the reality is that when it comes to Chelsea Nothing is good. Looks like he forgot the way we played against Arsenal at the beginning of the season. Why the hate, Liverpool Mancity, ask these managers if it was easy to play against us, our problems has not been big teams but the so called small team which in 38 games = CONSISTENCY. Arsenal got extremely lucky on the first match we played so were Liverpool, and City but then one trillion injuries came and the rest is for everyone to see, so mister Merson should close his mouth. Just imagine Arsenal doesn’t win the league I would like to know what nurse did they achieve, What other finals did they? That Arsenal comment doesn't really make sense I understand it in terms of vision as having youthful squad & trusting the process but Arsenal have only been fighting for the Prem for like 2 seasons. 21-22 we finished above them🤣 in fact apart from the last two seasons we've finished above them every year since we last won the league🤷🏽‍♂️ I ent tryna dig at Arsenal but you just can't compare. It's very Chelsea to finish top 3 then have a average table finish the next season😅😂 only City & Liverpool have been more consistent than us.

Chelsea won't contend for the league next season.... But top 4. Chelsea still doesn't have what it takes to contend the league. Last time we really did, we won it... Since Conte, this Chelsea has never been a real contender of the league. Under Tuchel....injury to Chilwell and James pulled the team off...you don't contend the league when you are pulled off because 2 players got injured.

This dude is a freaking disgrace. Talks like he knows absolutely nothing about football. Saying, "They've gone and bought the kids from youtube" well, that's how it's done in the 21st century! We're no longer in the 70's or 80's. Majority of the Top European teams employ scouts and use data to analyze and search for the next big star. Of course, he's correct to say this is how he envisioned the whole thing to be.. but, we al knew it won't be so easy. Rebuilding a team is one thing.. Rebuilding a team with "kids" from all around the world is another thing entirely. Funny how he singled out the Arsenal game but can't remember the 2 Cup finals against Liverpool where CFC were arguably the better side and should have won but lost due to experience - which is the major issue with this team. He also didn't talk about the performances against Man City (Home and Away). It's really cool to compare an arsenal side that is way past rebuilding and already competing for titles with Chelsea. Some times I wonder wonder who put these guys on Tv and thinks they know sh!t about football or football administration just because they played football.

And the amount of injuries we’ve had this season is unreal, they need to back him completely and listen to him or try make compromise.
