Was in the same boat with you, didn’t really see what he brought to the team but he’s been integral for us this season!

I feel like the only reason some of our fanbase don’t appreciate Conor’s contribution this season is coz we paid no fee for him…if we bought him for any fee everyone would agree he has been our best midfielder this season

@@ChildGeinus true but personally, I think Conor is the perfect Kante replacement because I don't think he has the technical ability to be an out and out 10, but what he lacks in technical ability he more than makes up in work rate and he's also very rarely injured. I think he and caicedo should be the box to box and let enzo be the 10 because enzo doesnt have the physicality like Conor but he does have the technical ability.

Totally agree. Everyone saw and wanted the ‘Kante’ in Caicedo, but Conor has been the kante all along. Many will not agree, Conor is also the captain Chelsea deserves and needs. In time, this hard working player will dominate the pitch for a long period of time. Mark my word.

Gallagher deserves a new contract (note: it doesn't mean guaranteed starting position). But 6th for modern Chelsea should never be good enough. We've won something every other season for past 20 or so years; we've gone on to transact a billion on top of that. That's not a club of small stature. If we're not winning cups then the league form should be better, specially in a season without Europe. This is not meant to be a negative nancy comment. Just my heartfelt opinion.
