Picked it up after watching a couple times great video man !!
Thank you😄🇮🇪
Comeback guy we miss you, taught a little of Johnson and Skip James
There's a fine line to getting the right amount grit in your voice to sound like Johnson, too much and you end up sounding like popeye

Delta Lou popeye came out in 1929, who knows maybe Johnson saw him on the talkies.. this is such a funny song unlike any other that he recorded..maybe he was trying for popeye?

cool, let me know how it goes. Did you check out my website where you can download the book for free??
Just discovered the channel and had a look at a few vids..... Really like what I see. Keep up the good work and greetings from the UK!!!
I hate to be that guy but this just doesn't sound like the record to me. It sounds like he's doing up strokes on the intro so me hearing the record and then going back to the video is throwing me off.
If you played the first chord differently it would sound identical, nice lesson tho, easier than all the other versions online.
What's the anger/frustration about?
Almost, johnson plays more soulful chords
