These Fish are RAVAGING MY BAITS!
Ойын-сауық
These fish are ravaging my fishing bait! Graeme recalls a trip back last Autumn when the weather conditions finally kicked the river occupants into a feeding spell that saw his Avon rod fold over time after time. It’s chock full of fishing tips that might help beginners get into some of the hardest fighting fish in the UK freshwater. At just under an hour long, its another session where he has to constantly switch his tactics back and forth to get the best he can,but the payoff is worth it. Sit back and join him on the fishing trip...Its Totally Awesome time again.

I have blanks the same as everyone, the difference being I don't mind putting them up on KZread as I have always tried to keep it real.
It's great to see a skilled and experienced angler use a rod and reel efficiently😊
I used to fish as a kid with a waggler, last year i started fly fishing after about 18 years off and thanks to you in the last few weeks ive been fishing float and feeder again with an old cheap 11ft avon quiver tip and a 10ft match rod. Thanks Graeme 🫡

Hi Graham. I use a boilie needle to get hooks through luncheon meat. The type with the barb. It works a treat. Lovely videos .

Always look forward to a Friday night upload, best angler on KZread
Thank you Graeme, nice one sir 👍
Hello Graeme, wonderful session, as always, terrific fish, thanks for sharing with us all, keep em coming, when you can, no rush mate, all the best, happy Monday to you, and your family.
Just idea for umbrella and wet knees,Velcro on top of Brolly,Velcro on a piece of fabric and make a short extension to the front using wire from a hanger to support?
@TAFishing

Now that sounds a good idea. Obviously I am not alone suffering from "Knee drip" on fishing umbrellas.
Hi Graeme, Commenting before iv'e watched. Great to see you back. Weather seems to be improving now after all the rain in April. I don't think i have ever seen it that bad. How we didn't get landslides i don't know. Here's to a great summer ahead. Always my best as you know. Steve in Fife.

Unfortunately there’s a new generation which doesn’t value experience and knowledge prefers to listen to its new U tube stars intent on making a living from it who they relate to more. Respect for age and experience in society has truly gone to be replaced by entitled arrogant youth who think they know it all and sit there….generally carping and not catching…with their expensive gear and boilies…posting videos of their regular blanking…please stop!, There is no substitute for experience .When you know you know!! If Graham was any more experienced he could tell us how he built the pyramids!! Lol
Great video Graham.
Magic thank you Graeme
Yes Graeme I do remember the Sunday Express. I did actually get a Brolly just like the one you are using. I caught a very large Perch on a lob worm tail I thought for sure it was a carp I had but no a beautiful Perch 4lb 14oz if memory serves. The head bailiff weighed it for me and I'm pretty sure he actually wrote to the express on my behalf. Great times I could walk you to the exact peg even now. Can't fish there anymore though The National trust took over the lake and stopped the fishing. That's another tale though, just to say it saddens me deeply to see the lake now choked with weed and in a sorry state.
Thanks for sharing as always Sir. Love the hand wash system. reminds me of uncle Albert from only fools and horses when viewed from above
Really enjoyed watching keep them coming mate
Lovely stuff!
Good session Graeme.Secial fish the Barbel..
Graham, quick tip, take a piece of tarp, plastic, whatever, which weighs nothing, drape it over your knees and thighs, problem sorted. Your can also use plastic sheet to keep your video stuff dry too. Buy them from a pound shop with little eyelets on the corner to tie them down…for guess show much? Thought that may appeal to your frugal nature. You can even get 2 x1m lightweight tarps in green…so versatile . Tie over that brolly to stop rain coming in at the side too!

Good tip,I shall have to look out for those tarps.

Already done,I just put them up when I fancy.I try to spread species out.
Good result, definitely worth the effort, love a barbel.
Graham try fresh liver un cooked you will be shocked. just use small slithers about the size of a small worm.
Hi GP, ya in yr element, from barbels, chub and porbeagles. This is YOU.
Totally Awesome
its almost impossible to find groundbait feed like that anymore in SG. only birdshops carry a certain amount of chickenfeed but they are too coarse for fishing.
👍👍👍
Try tiny stripes of bologna. Fish are like hungry kids. Treat them that way.
The Wye was a cracking River to fish, ....top 5 river in the U.K

I'm very late to the Wye,huge shame I never tried it years ago rather than get stuck on the Hampshire Avon struggling, with memories of what it used to be like in the 1960's.

Probably donated to a National museum.
Hi Graeme. CHALLENGE...... I always watch your clips and one thing I have noticed... You are up and down like a yoyo on speed. I can't get up and down like you because I'm a 62 year old crippled. I hereby challenge you to complete a one FOUR hour session WITHOUT standing up from your chair. If anything, it will give you an insight into how a disabled anger manages. Should you choose to accept this challenge, Just make sure you go to the loo first. No cheating!
Awesome content thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻
What is the ground bait made up of
@TAFishing

Mostly Bailey's number 1 horse feed, with a bit of bran and whatever loose feed you fancy. In this case pellets, but you can you sweetcorn, maggots or small boilies.
Thank you for the great fishing Graeme, but how old is this video your still using your old chair?
