Exactly right. The example I gave was an exothermic reaction with a high transition state energy barrier. In fact, any exothermic reaction that releases more energy than required to overcome the transition state will be self-sustaining (at least hypothetically).
Plain and beautiful description, thank you!
Thank you for the explanation. This makes a lot of sense, but I want to point out that instead of using H on the y axis, G would be best be not all exothermique reactions are spontaneous. However, all exergonic reactions are spontaneous.
Loved this explanation!
Thank you sir, for the explanation.
Just unbelievable!
Very good
So with the trimer of TATP you get a less stable product by using a catalyst therefore kinetic. And with the dimer DADP you don’t use catalyst and you get a thermodynamic reaction is this correct
Great
how is kinetic control used to affect the outcome of a chemical reaction where several reaction paths are available

In such case i think so that the mechanism exactly followed by the reaction can only be predicted n we cannot say anything with certainity but the factors and kinetics help us to predict the most kinetically favourble path ..this can be more clearly explained by thermodynamic cycles
Sir, which country did you belongs to?? I am coming to teach from you......
