I think this year's playoffs have been very instructive due to the refereeing style; these games are closer to the defense that I grew up watching in the NBA. They are allowing a LOT more defensive contact (actually allowing defense) and players' numbers as a whole are dropping precipitously. Kinda lets you know who would have been effective in the 90's, early aughts from today's league. It was so much more physical then. Ant and Brunson would have been right at home, apparently. You could say most of the things in this video about Jalen Brunson as well (give the man his flowers). Love watching the ascendence of new stars. It's so much fun.

Anthony Edwards is already one of the NBA’s most irreplaceable players In the first-round of the 2024 NBA playoffs, the Timberwolves swept the Phoenix Suns 4-0. Edwards firmly took control of a franchise that hasn’t seen this sort of success and excitement since the early 2000s of Wolves forward Kevin Garnett and team president Flip Saunders, who later was named coach. It sounds like hyperbole, but the next several months could change Edwards’ life, career, and the future of the NBA.

Ant is also a great team leader and actually takes responsibility for his mistakes just listen to him speak after a win and after a loss it’s amazing to see.

John Salley spoke about how great Anthony Edwards was a year and a half ago on Vladtv saying he would pick him over Giannis. I guess he knew Giannis would be injured two playoffs in a row. Good luck to him because the champions have pulled one game back.

Rudy Gobert was quite maligned when he came over from Utah. There were questions about how he will fit in. Then Ant came up and said he will go to France and train with Gobert during this past offseason. And this year, Gobert won Defensive Player of the Year and the whole team seems to be having so much fun being together. KAT even led a chant for Gobert during one post game interview. I am pretty sure Ant's gesture is one of the reasons why there is such comfort for Rudy this year.

With the pieces the wolves have (Edwards, Gobert, Towns, Reid, Conley, etc.), I think they have a chance to compete for the NBA championship.

I hope they don't ruin his career. He's just a dude that you build your franchise around. Leading by example. Still easygoing. KAT is that guy too, he just needs to stay healthy. Timberwolves have a strong roster. DPOY, Rudy Gobert is electrifying. Almost like Rodman.

What separates Ant is the leadership and allowing others around him to thrive without him doing everything, that’s why his numbers don’t pop off compared to Luka or SGA but it’s gonna get plenty of free agents to consider Minnesota

I know its not true or no one has ever clarified but i think the first thing happened when ANT was drafted by the Wolves was to see the footage of the infamous practice when Jimmy and the G league players ripped apart the first team LOL. Then he knew that this team lack leadership and toughness and well, put a lot of work into this beside hooping his ass off. Also, KAT is wonderful as a second option and he fit the role pretty well, which can be traced back to ... the Jimmy incident LOL. I hope KAT and ANTMAN can get Minnesota their first ring.

OK, this is just laughable, even after round 1 sweeping the suns, no content like this exist, Ant got his praises but no one says he is leading this generation, only when they go 2-0 over Denver and Jokic, all of a sudden "something seperate Ant from the rest of NBA", Ant is gonna be great, he will improve even more in the future, but right now, he is what his MVP vote is, a Top 10 player maybe Top 5, not touching the throne of Jokic, and not over Luka and SGA, no one likes bandwagon stuff.
