Totally agreed. Sometimes we shoot for other photographers, when we should be shooting for our clients. None of my clients ever ask about photography rules, when they get their photos back.lol

Agree! I recently posted an image from the second year of my six-year long international project - six years of exhibition - to a group of "professional photographers." They ignored the story and said, "It isn't sharp." I'm an award winning photographer and the image was from an acclaimed show....

That’s sadly all many photographers care about - the technical aspects. The story is almost always overlooked and I really dislike that about the photography community. I will always value the story over the technical!

I stopped posting in groups forever ago because I just didn’t find the information useful. No one asks what your intention was, and the feedback is really just what they would have done, which can have value, but if you shoot how I mentioned in this video - with intention - there’s not really any feedback needed from anyone else.

Great video! 💯 true, not only in photography but like u said this in every thing! When kids as me to train them in basketball I'll do the first one, but after that I'm looking to see if you real about, and if not I stop! I don't think gatekeepers are a things to a high degree as everyone claims it to be!

Go back and watch my past 5 Friday vids, you’ll see a “pattern” 😉 although the changing exposure was because I was too lazy to flag a window and it so happened to be a partly cloudy day. The sun was NOT a paid actor lol. Thanks though man, I appreciate it!
