@@raptorzeraora2632 it stands for alternate reality game, it's basically when someone, usually on the internet, hosts a game with a huge puzzle to solve, they leave clues in different youtube channels, secrete codes in downloads, hints hidden in audio sound waves, and some times even full on video games are created. A community will try to piece together the different clues and decipher the codes to come to a conclusion.

@@alexiakokkinakis162 An ARG is an Alternate Reality Game. It's a game where people will have to interact with things, sometimes even in the real world to solve the mystery or figure out the story. Most ARGs follow the TINAG rule (This Is Not A Game) where it sort of tells the story as if it's actually a part of the real world, if that makes sense. Like other people have said, you can check out Inside A Mind's video about this specific series called "This SpongeBob Theory Channel Has Hidden Lore".

Just watched the inside a mind video and it really made me appreciate how much time and dedication truly goes into these videos and ideas. I makes me realize what separates you from a standard theory channels. Thank you for the entertainment Alex.

POSSIBLE THEORY ✨ Ima get right to the point…Squidward makes his hate for Spongebob very clear. Since there are plenty of other businesses surely he could have been able to switch jobs or move to avoid being with spongebob all day…right?! My idea came from Alex’s Mrs. Puff Theory. Someone has to be forcing squidward to be with spongebob all the time. There is actually proof that spongebob and squidward’s family’s were friends long before the show starts. In the prehistoric bikini bottom and medieval episodes squidward’s ancestors are friendly with spongebob’s ancestors. What if squidward has to or feels like he has to look over spongebob to honor their families history. Spongebob clearly might need help being looked over because he isn’t the smartest guy and sometimes seems crazy. The last part of evidence is since the show is in spongebob’s perspective we probably would see obvious clues of squidward helping spongebob because for spongebob, squidward helping him is just something normal that spongebob wouldn’t think of as anything special or weird. This is especially true because spongebob views squidward as his friend, not his guardian. ~~~~~~~~ Well that’s the theory guys! Please like so Alex can see and maybe make it an official theory 😮

I don't play ARGs because I don't computer, which leaves me frightened as to what exactly Alex had to sacrifice to his "muse" to get this theory.

Can we all actually appreciate the time and effort Alex puts in to his theories, like he could be in Hollywood right now. But I remember in The Mrs. Puff theory that he tries to look for moments that are implying more that what you think. I can only think of a peanut dancing to a song.

Even if this is all part of an ARG, you gotta admit that the theories are very solid.

I'd like to randomly point out, because I just learned about oldroot, something tells me very deeply that the repeated code of the truth in the shadows (I forget what it was exactly) has something to do with this monster that's hiding in the darkness. Also the biggest clue that kept being repeated about the past and the future (again I can't remember the exact quote) could have something to do with the old story being revealed through the deeper arg elements of the stories and films best working on today. Something to think about for those who know about his old arg, oldroot =P I have a feeling he's the type of artist that would connect all of his stories and games together in an interconnected arg. With different layers to it at least.

Honestly Alex's theories are some of the only SpongeBob theories I can stomach because imho he does more than just make them to make the show more edgy for edginess, I feel like his theories actually enrich the viewing experience. There's another video out called Skin Theory, and it's a perfectly fine video that's really well thought out and I'm sure has many good points scattered throughout, and I mean no hate for the creator, but I honestly just couldn't finish it, and I feel like what I did get from it just doesn't do anything to make the show more interesting. The TV show theory or the Mrs Puffs backstory, on top of being the ones that I think were the most likely to be intentional written by the writers, also give me a better perspective on the show as a whole, and Mrs Puff herself. And the extra creepy "real world" bits at the end are the cherry on top of a great viewing experience. 👍

This series is just absolutely mind boggling and fantastic. Alex, you are a genius.

At first glance this may be crazy but then again seeing the new recent episode it actually makes sense.

You can really tell Alex puts effort into his videos because his upload schedule is not consistent because he takes his time and researches and writes his videos thoroughly Unlike channels like Game Theory, that have to upload at least once a week that's why the videos have been lack luster and doesn't have the same hype feeling everytime there is a new video
