Maybe it isn’t two separate timelines but a single one. The Atlanteans brought Neptune to power to depose Poseidon and take his god powers away, (like he did after briefly making SpongeBob a god), which afterwards the now mortal Poseidon founded the lost city of Atlantic City using his following that still thought of him as the god of the seas.

The reason Neptune looks different in the film is because of a firewall between Nickelodeon and Paramount where they couldn’t use designs from the movie and put them into the show

I have no idea how it works but there was some kinda barrier, for like 10 yrs. that's why they only eventually did they have stuff exclusive to that movie (ex: goofy goober's, mindy, dennis, david hasselhoff, shell city) in the show

its sad how many people hate his horror films and tell him they are horrible even though he definitely spends so long on them

Bro the Lost City of Atlantic City caught me off guard and threw me for a loop when I heard it in the video, and I was mid scroll when you mentioned it immediately after.

When Alex talked about Neptune taking the throne by force from Poseidon, it made me think of the Battle of Hastings ( in England) in 1066. For anyone who doesn't know what happened, after a King named Edward The Confessor died, three men wanted to be King of England. Their names were Harald Hardrada, who was a Viking, Harold Godwinson, who was a noble Englishman, and William, Duke of Normandy, who would later onwards become William The Conqueror. Harold Godwinson was King, but the other two didn't take it lightly, and started wars. Harald Hardrada fought against Harold Godwinson in the Battle of Stanford, of which Harold Godwinson won. And William The Conqueror fought in the Battle of Hastings, of which he won. Legally, Harold Godwinson should've been King, but William The Conqueror took it forcefully, and was crowned King of England on Christmas Day in 1066 at Westminster Abbey.

I honestly feel bad for Alex that people just say all he should do is stick to SpongeBob videos like it's sad to see

So they just put in little Easter Eggs for the Adult Fans of SpongeBob who still watch the show(And the other 2 movies) to figure it out for themselves. Kinda like how Gravity Falls does the exact same thing. But the only difference is that SpongeBob only does this on a medium scale while Gravity Falls does it on a Grand Scale. Now I'm not a fan of the newer seasons or even the later movies for that matter,but I gotta appreciate these theories about SpongeBob that these KZreadrs kept on creating... Hell,I even gotta appreciate the writers for a *tiny* bit for them being so ballsy on placing a *SQUIDWARD'S SU-CIDE* reference in one of their episodes! 😅😂

There actually is concrete evidence that the Spongebob Movie takes place after the show. In the beginning of the movie, Spongebob tells Gary that he’s earned 374 consecutive Employee of the Month awards. This would place it 31 years after Spongebob started working at The Krusty Krab.

If he’s reading the comic upside down wouldn’t that mean he’s reading the story in reverse? So Neptune would be a alien baby left in a river and found by his mum. Neptune is an alien.

I noticed the resemblance before searching to confirm, you mentioned Neptune took Poseidon's wife, Amphritrite, but you forgot to mention Poseidon's son in greek mythology is named Triton. Neptune took everything, would explain why Triton had his entire episode - and including Triton also had to use the trident for powers

Ok, but then wouldn’t Triton have black hair instead of Neptune’s red hair? Unless that was a recessive gene passed down, which could be a possibility but also unlikely given that in movies and tv shows matching hair color is a sign of parentage. In that case, Amphritrite must’ve been a cheater to have Triton looking like Neptune before he took the throne. Kicking Poseidon out of his own castle after already having smooched his wife? Dang, that is even colder..

My theory is that Poseidon and Neptune are in a Dirty Dan situation where they both claim to be the ruler of the seven seas

What if Neptune ascension isn't about him gaining his power but him either fighting or coming back to the people who gave him his powers

SpongeBob discovering the Krabby Patty Formula before Krabs did explains how Spongebob seems to make the Krabby Patty so naturally good. But even Mr. Krabs does it terribly

What really can be done? Views/clicks are like economics; supply and demand. - You sell what people want (usually under Brand Recognition), and people will buy it. - You make something new, yet marketed poorly… and your operation goes down the toilet. The harsh reality is, the masses don’t want the Shorts. It’s not his fault, but what can he really do about it to support himself? Spongebob has a legacy and Brand Recognition. Not likely. These ending sequences are part of a huge ARG that spans across multiple channels and media. The Muse is the common connection that links all of them together. “The Cynical Critic” and the “Conspiracy Carl” channel and website respectively are both crucial parts of this puzzle. So no, I am very much doubting this is a TV show, but a portion of something bigger! Edit: Phrasing.

@@asmolpieceofapplepie8465 oh I didn't know all that was going on. I just meant he was talking to SpongeBob show writers and that's how he got all this. I figured this was maybe being done by nickelodeon (who would be The Muse) giving him all these connections specifically only for his theory videos to win back long time fans so that they could understand the tone shift or at the very least, just to get interest back in the show. I haven't watched his other stuff though, but considering the show was willing to introduce timelines as canon i wouldn't be surprised if they are gearing up for some massive project that will end with Sandy having to save the spongebob multiverse and all the "theories" being confirmed.

Considering how the Muse is mentioned in meta tags of Cynical Critic videos and in the "SONC THE BLUE RAT" channel, I don't think it's likely he's working with a show writer of any sorts. It would make more sense that this is just a big, hidden puzzle with some genius execution behind the scenes to get the wheels turning.

The biggest problem with this theory is the fact that Greek gods and Roman gods are the same gods using different names. Poseidon is just Neptune’s 3rd redesign using the Greek name.

I actually really enjoy the horror shorts

At first, I felt bad that Alex was delegated as the SpongeBob guy, but then I realized he found a way to include (and essentially create a bridge to) his original content. That way, those who may not have known or been interested in it by itself get to wet their palette and perhaps view his other material after all. Good luck, Alex! Don't sell your soul.

Those comments in the beginning were really mean. I thought the horror short was the perfect amount of scary and the unexpected. Yeah I'm 100% convinced that's what it represents. It's despicable. Art and media is subjective so a person can just not like his shorts but to actively tell him to stop making them and only do spongebob theories is attempting to suppress his rights to creatively express himself.

I liked King Neptune's voice acting in the first Spongebob movie. He has a very thick General North American accent.

Patrick and spongebob moved in next to each other because they were best friends since camp coral, AND I forgot the episode, but the part where they said they were gonna be and were always best friends forever, it showed them as babies, just like camp coral. Mr krabs was in the navy, but in the television theory, he was spying on them.

i just think the monster is meant to represent the audience in all honesty, and that is his way to interestingly convey to the people watching what he wants to do.

ton I’ve watched all of the theorizers theories and Alex Bales. I like both but they have a different approach. The Theorizer is more about kinda diagnosing the characters and making it as crazy as possible. While Alex Bale puts the stuff together in a more neat and digestible fashion.
