So many things I'm just now noticing in this video. Young Link being beat made Link cease to exist, Ness used PK Pulse to fill G&W's bucket, and Roy counters the bucket to defeat Giga Bowser.

ZGamer217 Damn. How much damage is that? The max percent of the bucket is 200%, assuming all three PK Flash's were fully charged, with Roy's counter having a 1.5x multiplier, then that means it does 300% damage! And here I thought all those years back it was Roy and Game and Watch attacking at once.

Probably unintentional but you can see G&W accidentally get killed by the Roy player for a brief moment.

The scene with Marth running to hold off bowser still gives me chills. Such a classic.

This feels like one of those really old movies that were really popular back then but almost no one seems to remember nowadays, but then after you finally decide to watch it you realise that despite it's age, its still a banger.

I randomly thought of this today and glad I looked it up. I was actually one of the gameplay assistants on this (darkroom). It was so much fun to help make and Superdoodleman is in fact a legend. He put so much time and love into his videos. He was also a pretty nasty peach for those who don't know haha. This "premiered" at FC3 (iirc) on the projection screen to much acclaim and its so great to see how many people still enjoy it to this day. Steve, if you see this, I hope everything is going well, such epic times and fond memories playing SSBM with you and the others back in the day.

lol m2k There's a huge difference between the two. The Rayman leak was confirmed as a fake by a fan name Omni (he admitted it himself). The Ryu and Roy leak was confirmed by several sources to exist in the game and there sound files are literally in the game.

lol m2k Dude, the victory files for both Roy and Ryu were both Fire Emblem and Street Fighter victory themes respectively. It doesn't get anymore obvious than that.

I realized after 11 years that this video is the story of a guy who becomes a serial killer after being bullied.

Absolutely love the "silent film" style you went with. 5 stars and a fave!

The hype when I started Final Fantasy 8 and heard "The Wrath of Giga Bowser song"

Bro I remember this being one of the first videos I ever saw on KZread. “Roy has teh PHIR3” still flashes through my mind sometimes, and now I remember why.

I still love how Bowser escilates in size and how each character deals with it, and that last Sprint on the homerun course.

Never gets old, gotta like how the music, the action replay codes and the video edits makes this so Amazing!

Gotta be honest; when I first saw this many years ago, it made me legitimately scared of Giga Bowser (having never seen him before until this video)

I think I was 14 when I first saw this, when I was just starting high school. Now I'm 23 and almost done with college. My god how time has passed.

11 years already have gone by. this video will never die.

I always thought the chorus at 2:36 was repeating the phrase "We must use it", referring to the capsule Game and Watch was carrying.

I was in elementary school when I first saw this, now I'm a junior in college. God, how I miss those simple days...

I can’t believe this is still around after 16 years since I’ve seen it 😂

This could easily be a Subspace Emissary side quest or short mission. This would be freaking amazing to play if it were modernized as a story mode for Smash.

I remember stumbling upon this video when I was like...8 years old. I'm 22 now. this video is 16 years old and I can just smell the 240p. but I still managed to watch this video and feel chills, it's such a well made video for it's era, and I wouldn't be surprised if this boosted popularity for Smash-Cinema videos, or even just making Giga Bowser an even cooler concept. Regardless, SuperDoodleMan is a legend.
