Nayeon's story reminds me so much of the Rebecca Schaeffer case. The guy wrote letters to the actress, and he felt he was in love with her and she was his. He was so angry when she had an intimate scene. He went to her management company, waited there, asked the staff for her, and then he found out where she lived. I don't know why he did it but he shot her. I really don't understand why the obsession goes this far. Josh sounds like this dude.

I remember when EXO almost kidnapped before. saesang fans rented a car similar to EXO's and parked the car on the place EXO's car was often being parked. When some of the members entered the car, the manager noticed something was off. Thanks to this, the member was able to escape this catastrophe.

Some korean fans are literally insane and crazy. Let’s not forget what happened during first generation of K-Pop. Kan Mi-youn of Baby V.O.X was sent dead mice, death threats with the writing in blood, and razors in the mail after she was rumored to be dating Moon Hee-joon, a popular member of H.O.T.

Imagine having a great day then you receive a letter written with "blood" not just any blood. Another blood with a proof.

I feel for these idols. They shouldn’t have to wake up without being in fear of a sasaeng fan stalking them or doing extreme measures for their idols to notice them. As fans we should respect this privacy & we must realize they are humans just like we are.

‘ I just got into k-pop just a few years ago and it saddens me to hear all these disturbing and unacceptable actions of those people. Idols are human and they have feelings as well. It hurts to see the type of situation they are always placed in, I just hope and pray that they can live life without living in constant fear. I've worked at a lot of stores and malls, and I've seen many well-known people from the TV industry, etcetera. Including people that I really like and in no time, I've disrespected them. 1st because I was working and 2nd because they are human beings who deserve respect, especially if it's their day off. 5:59 Man. That really tore me. I wouldn’t get all possesive for my bias or any other k-pop idol if they got a gf/bf. Yes I would be jealous(;-;) but I would never do something that dangerous. Now I just feel sad.

I remember the story about Yunho of TVXQ drinking juice or coffee (can't remember which) from a fan. After drinking he vomitted blood and fainted because of it. They later learned it has super glue mixed in. Also the time when RM was photographed while trying on clothes in a fitting room. Also DBSK sasaengs sneaking into their dorms while they were sleeping and tried kissing them. Oh when Taeyeon of SNSD got almost kidnapped while performing. I still have shivers when I see the vid. And also the sasaengs that broke in FT Island's dorm, messing and stealing their stuff and leaving their own feces. I mean come on, how sick in the mind can they be. Then the incident of Kai being grabbed at the airport, causing him to fall and hit his chin. And because he was hurt, he cannot get up on his own. The sasaengs took advantage and touched him all over. Thank goodness Baek came to the rescue. Also the hidden camera in a teddy bear given to Suho, which thankfully was detected by the metal detector in the airport. Oh and so much more. It's no surprise that starting from Gen 3 idols, security has been more strict and idols started distancing themselves from fans because of these sasaengs.

Oof. The "blood letter" and "cutforkookie" were probably the most disturbing ones. Yikes. Like shouldn't they be happy for jungkook? Because i would cry happy tears if the BTS members were ever dating

The problem "sometimes", is that fans thinks they are protecting their idols. They are the only ones who can protect them etc etc.. but they dont realize that they are part of their idols problem. Personal messaging the idols just to comfort them, saying like "its ok, we are here for you, or encouraging them like you can do this, fighting, etc." For a fan its a form of encouragement, but for the idols its invading their privacy. Especially if its their personal contact number.. 🤷‍♀️

My mom literally came by me and instantly I showed her the title and said I ain't letting my daughter do this because I contributed that blood to her. 😂 You rock mom

You being in a different fandom doesn't matter, it's natural that we'd want to protect other humans (especially our idols) from these crazy people.

That was extremely stupid and most know that kpop idols aren't really allowed to date after one incident. Sometimes people are so crazy and won't let kpop idols relax. I hope the companys or the government can do something about this because this could end up in disaster and can end up killing many.( But it has happened and people need to act better than just being obsessed with the idols.)

I honestly believe that if entertainment companies humanized K-POP Idols by letting them have relationships, giving them more freedom to do what they wish and express more freely when making songs, dances, etc, and not always putting them in front of the camera for the world to see, sasaengs would be a thing. I feel like the way they view Idols is very dangerous and obsessive. Idols are humans too, so if they're treated as such and not as people who have to perform and satisfy a large group of people regardless who who they are as a person or how they feel, people would dial down their expectations. The big companies really need to humanize their idols before sasaengs take things too far and actually seriously harm idols.

Yeah it's really weird and uncomfortable on its own. Like imagine, you are getting a massage from an unknown person, you probably don't even recognise the number, and the first text the person sends you is-- "Daddy" or "Babygirl".....and words like that yk? The cut for kookie is probably the worst Let me explain: the people self harming SELF HARMED it’s a extremely serious topic and since they were capable of doing that who knows how bad their mental health is. And Jungkook too! If he saw that that would be such an traumatic experience D: a year later: god I couldn’t even remember all of this! I’m not into kpop anymore and haven’t been for some time, can’t believe this happened in a fandom I once used to be such a big part of.
