West Ham have made progress over the years, culminating in their European triumph last season, but they don’t provide enough service for the type of forward that Scamacca is. which is why there have been very few CFs who have thrived there in recent years besides Michail Antonio. glad that he’s somewhat back on track though.

I think he did enough for us then pretty much half of our players. This last season was our worst yet our best so you can’t really blame him, especially after his injury.

Really sad it didn’t work out for him, think a mix of injuries, lack of playing time with Paqueta (who seemed to be injured whenever Scamacca was fit), our style of play and also his unhappiness later on all combined to make it fail. Glad he’s doing decent at Atalanta, one hell of a ball striker
