I mean literally the only reason why France didn’t win the last euros and World Cup was because it went to a penalty shootout. Penalty shootouts are literally France’s kryptonite. It be a miracle if we somehow beat Georgia or Albania, Turkey, Poland etc in a penalty shootout. I’m not even joking. France haven’t lost a knockout stage game at any major international tournament on the field since 2016. After 2018 they’ve become to good that the only way they can lose in a major international tournament is by a team that manages to make it 3-3 against them and then is able to hang on long enough till they get to a penalty shootout. If their were no such things as penalty shootouts then France would already have their 3rd World and euro cups
