the first clip is actually fine because despite shielding, the actual shield hitbox doesn't come out frame 1 and he was hit before it came out

No, Shield comes out frame 1. It just doesn't visually show fully until 2-3.

I mean, the DDD, Min min, and Tink ones kinda make sense as shield pokes,but one could also argue that, since Tink’s final slash starts below him, that the Ness player did what they could to avoid getting poked by angling their shield down and still got poked anyway. And the Mother boys and Olimar do get shield poked more easily than other characters because their shields aren’t big enough to cover their body parts that poke out as much as other characters’ shields; look at the difference in coverage between Little Mac and Ness’ shields. The video’s pointing out a discrepancy, not discovering shield pokes for the first time.

He literally showed what it was in the video. You are arguing with 0 point behind it. Shield poking is a part of how bad his shield is. How do you not understand this?

Bro does not know about Steve’s shield not being able to be angled. Which means he gets destroyed by multi hits. And parry doesn’t work either, + olimar has the worst shield as well.
