The author of the Vampire Diaries had a lot of health problems. I think their mom got sick and then they got sick (caner?) and they sold TVD for that big fat check babby! The author had no imput or on the tv series because of this. The producers changed the personality and looks of elena to match Bella from Twilight because it was popular at the time.

Lol I remember reading Survive the Night in 7th grade and I liked it😂 I also hate The Cabin At the End of the World. The ending and the pacing was ughhhhh. I agree about the twist

I tend to use goodreads on the desktop most of the time because of how awkward the app can be. Especially when trying to scan barcodes.

I also added every book I’ve ever read (including childhood) and I’m so glad I’m not the only one 😅

listen, i tried really hard to get into the vampire diaries books... but someone spoiled the ending for me and told me that the ending in the book was different to the ending in the show.... and at the ripe old age of 14, my obsession with ian somerholder (wtf even is his last name?!) i decided that knowing the ending was good enough to consider the series to have been read and i could go back to my precious show :)

According to Goodreads, the three books with the lowest average ratings are books I gave 5 stars to. All these books have trans characters, so you can guess why the average rating is low. The only book I gave a 1 star rating to: On the Road. I don't remember much about that book except being bored. Honorary mention to A Dance with Dragons, that I gave 2 stars to and has an average rating of 4.33.
