This is my take on the NEW super fast bait cast reels after using mine for about a year, hope this helps someone understand a little about them before they purchase one. Fastest Baitcast reel made by Daiwa, the Zillion TWS 100XXS 9.1:1

    I do the bicycle explanation also, I don't really like using my Zillion TWS 9.1 for anything over 1/2oz because of this. It gets it done fine because it is such a big strong reel, but I just don't feel the torque there. Plenty of people punch with 2oz weights with the 9 speed, but personally I would prefer the 7.3 (own 2 of them also, tacklewarehouse had an amazing sale on the Zillions).

    Also, if your reel isn't still warrantied (Daiwa will fix most of them for free) you can order new 9.1 gears from TackleTrap.com, you could also probably order some 7.3 gears if you wanted, I plan to as soon as I find a set of 7.3 gears.
