Gukesh has already won all the hearts in India by winning candidates at such a young age ❤🥺. Wishing him best of luck for the world championship and for sure he will win everyone's heart all over the world ❤
A Big shout out to @Scheinberg for organising and consistently holding the FIDE Event. Hope they extend it after 2026 as well. Truly in the making of a Legend
Guki you stole our hearts. ❤
Kudos to CBI and Sagar Shah for such an unfiltered interview and getting not politically corrected answers from FIDE CEO. It gives a raw insight. Eagerly waiting for Gukesh's detailed interview. Hope it comes out soon. Also, interview of Vaishali - 5 contiguous wins, what am achievement. Too much emotion, I guess I should hold back my typing for next video. 😅

Yes 5 continuous wins is a tremendous achievement by Vaishali. She felt some nerves in the initial stages. A 5 win streak in a strong candidates tournament after being in last place shows what a fighter she is. Thanks to the fide CEO for putting this achievement in perspective! Our media should be shouting about this as well!

Let's go Gukiiii.... World Champion!!!!!
A Candidates like no other!! Gukesh showed that it is humanly possible even if you are just 17!! Man, that was next level! Many congratulations and love. Vaishali was on a rampage. Unprecedented. She deserves all applauds and appreciation. Many congratulations Vaishali 👋👋

Its actually positive news for Gukesh. Ding is still not in his form and if WCC would have held next year, I guess he would have recovered his form but now it will be held in November, can't be sure but Gukesh sure have so much chance.

he actually was not in his form last wcc since he didn't even know he was going to be in the candidates until last minute, he still won the wcc anyways. he knew he's going to be defending his title the second he won the wcc, he will be more in shaped
I believe the best venue for WCC match is Bagio, Philippines. Its neither players homeground, but still in neighborhood, it holds historical significance, and in general a boost for chess in another asian country.

Thanks FIDE and Emil it was such a fun tournament to watch. The idea of open and women together was brilliant. It allowed us to recognise and pay more attention to Women's tournaments. Only a small detail that most of the nights were sleepless! Chess players and personalities are so genuine, humble and such class acts. Hope to see more tournaments. Hopefully some in India too.
can't wait to see gukesh dommaraju vs ding liren in the world chess championship 2024!

Make the wc happen in Mumbai & make Taj hotel as sponsor & let players & seconds & all supporting personnel stay there. That would really make India shine & show them that they can have many outstanding tournaments in India.

You can't have a tournament in a players home country as it will be unfair for the opponent, It is possible that they do half of the tournament in India and half in China, but it's prob just easier and make more sense in a third country

Correction it's 5 in row for vaisali
How come no other companies compete with FIDE ? Isn’t FIDE a Monopoly ? Regardless, I’m very glad that FIDE exists, yet it would be quite nice if other companies were in competition with FIDE (as this would be better for the game of chess and all worldwide future chess talent). This really is a very odd thing 🤔 I’m guessing that it’s legal for FIDE to be a Monopoly and somehow have no other competition ?

I was supporting Pragg all along because Pragg has beaten Ding in classical. Gukesh has a poor record against Ding, that's why I was rooting for Naka. If Ding gets back into form he will win against Guki. Nevertheless this is a great moment for Indian chess - congrats Gukesh and all the fans!
