Kudos to CBI and Sagar Shah for such an unfiltered interview and getting not politically corrected answers from FIDE CEO. It gives a raw insight. Eagerly waiting for Gukesh's detailed interview. Hope it comes out soon. Also, interview of Vaishali - 5 contiguous wins, what am achievement. Too much emotion, I guess I should hold back my typing for next video. 😅

Yes 5 continuous wins is a tremendous achievement by Vaishali. She felt some nerves in the initial stages. A 5 win streak in a strong candidates tournament after being in last place shows what a fighter she is. Thanks to the fide CEO for putting this achievement in perspective! Our media should be shouting about this as well!

How come no other companies compete with FIDE ? Isn’t FIDE a Monopoly ? Regardless, I’m very glad that FIDE exists, yet it would be quite nice if other companies were in competition with FIDE (as this would be better for the game of chess and all worldwide future chess talent). This really is a very odd thing 🤔 I’m guessing that it’s legal for FIDE to be a Monopoly and somehow have no other competition ?
