Oona was brought up in my hometown and Graduated High School with my Mom’s childhood friend. I recall Fran saying, “You’ll never guess who was here last week? Oona was home! She visited with her mother and she hasn’t changed at all, the same sweet girl I went to school with!”

Most funny people are coming from a large amount of pain &/or trauma in their lives. I’m glad Charlie Chaplin was honored as part of an episode.❤😊

Oona is one of four women who married Charlie Chaplin, but to be fair, she was the last and longest.

From her Wikipedia: “By her own account she first met Charlie Chaplin at the age of eight at a Hollywood café, and first worked with him at the age of 12 in the part of the "flirting angel" in The Kid. It seemed strange to see film clips of Charlie Chaplin speaking. What a treat.

American actor, Ed O'Neil, has ancestry from Ireland. I wonder if he is related to them as well! His family came to the United States in the 1850s to escape the Great Potato Famine.
