I’ve done genealogy for years. It’s been fascinating to go back to the early 1700’s of both my parents lineage. The oldest generation I can remember is my mother’s, mother’s mother. My great grandma Willis. I remember seeing her at family gatherings sitting in her rocking chair.

it feels great to be able to track your history. I remember a great grandfather and my great grand mother on my mother's side. I am 77.

Weve been able to trace our European line back to Charlemagne and Clovis I. (Husband and myself.) So cool to know!

You can’t assume your great grandparents were born into slavery, especially in Kentucky as there were plenty of free people living there. I know this from my own personal family history.
