Lowering the rim is gonna kill the league even more, and its already dead lol its gonna open up all the women to even farther ridicule and add a forever asterisk to any "accomplishment" they do. Lowering the rim/altering the rules in making the game easier would also permanently kill any discussions of a higher wage/salary/advertisements since that would also be an admission that they are no where near the level of the men and will never be in the history of this existence lmao WNBA needs to go out of business, the NBA is literally just subsidizing it for the sake of doing so at this point

The entitlement of WNBA players is astounding. Watching them weaponize woke media against the very people funding their charity league over the years has made me despise the league. Rather than try to improve the product, they cry sexism. And the media has been the WNBA's personal propaganda department for years now because the league "sells" itself as a progressive project rather than a sport. The WNBA is what you get when people feel entitled to charity rather than accept it with gratitude. So many of the players act like they have a right to to make a living playing a game and it's beyond off-putting. Just because the men's league is successful, they seem to think they have a right to be as well. They put out a garbage product and then have the audacity to blame everyone else when they don't get paid what they think they are owed. But what else can we expect from a business that knows it can't fail?

Women's tennis... simple... these girls make MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS... but guess what? They play some damn good tennis... watching Serena Williams beat the crap out of that tennis ball with those rockets she's sending across the court is EXCITING... also tennis is a sport much more based in technique than athletic ability... Women's track and field is successful and equal to men's (although both are not doing so well lately cause let's face it... nobody cares about a sport where 10 doped athletes run to see whose dope was the best)... female gymnastics are a huge spectacle in the Olympics at least and there are also fans of gymnastics that watch the world championships etc... So there... women's sports can be successful... women's basketball is trash as it is right now...

The players and the league should be collectively figuring out how they can EARN more viewership, more fans, more attendance, and ultimately more cash flow and sponsorship. The money has to come from somewhere. You can't just expect more money without first organically bringing in more money to the league. They need a long-term sustainable revenue growth plan.

I did say that female basketball is mediocre but many people will still go to see it. Just like Tennis, volleyball, and soccer. But their politics is not helping in drawing in more fans. Just as an example, my uncle used to watch WNBA a lot but lost appetite when he is constantly reminded how dumb his political views are.

I have never had WNBA on any TV and have never had some as to see a televised Wings game. I have had people want to have women’s hoops which plays on Saturdays & sundays changed to football.

I would have the exact same attitude if the NBA was roaching off another league and had an entitled attitude while doing it as I do here. And the teams that lose money rely on the OTHER NBA teams within it's own league with revenue sharing. Not other leagues or organizations. Now tell me again why it's not charity and why the WNBA shouldn't be left to fail? @@macofphilly the difference between the WNBA and the NBA in their first 20 years is the fact that the NBA didn't leech off of another league. The NBA dealt with shit on their own and since the beginning of the league it has been far more entertaining than WNBA ever has. Lol what are you even talking about "girls that look up to WNBA players"? Where are they? Certainly not watching their games or buying their tickets and merch. Lmao not even women care about this sorry ass league. The NBA is generous enough giving these ungrateful "players" millions every year to keep their league afloat, but then they have the balls to complain about them not having enough money, and wanting MORE? @@macofphilly it doesn't affect me at all. The NBA can give them all the money they want, it's their money. The problem I have is the WNBA players demanding more money as if it should be given. They haven't earned it at all. And that bs about not being able to go to a game is such crap, you can still watch their televised games, they make more money from sponsors than ticket sales anyways, but guess what, NO ONE WATCHES. You're basically saying "these women want to make a career out of a sport that they are not good at, but because they are women they should get money anyways". That is insane. That isn't how the world works. I can't become a hot dog seller and say to a hot dog company "hey, I want to make a career out of this, can you give me money monthly so I don't go under".
