Blue Mustang- I think Jack was a little 'Pissed Off' cause Conan wasn't sitting at his desk when he moved over to there towards end the song.
@YerpDerp17
2 ай бұрын
@@quontumleeep9430 No you're both wrong. lol He got mad because the amp became unplugged from his guitar when he picked the guitar back up from the desk. It's why he instantly threw the guitar down after it stopped making a sound, and it made Meg pause her drumming for a split second. Then she picked it back up a second later and he finished the song without the guitar. And its why the ending sounded sort of awkward and she didn't stop hitting the drum when he finished. Because she is so used to ending the song on beat with his guitar, so she wasn't sure when the song was ending. He has played on Conan many times by this point, along with many other Late Night talk shows. He is fully aware the host isn't sitting at their desk during performances. lol And him and Conan have a fairly close relationship. He is really serious about his craft and was simply annoyed he didn't get the finish the song like he wanted to and had to finish it without his guitar.
@BranceCrantly
20 күн бұрын
@@YerpDerp17 The correct answer. I always read it as him not being mad, as much as "Fuck it, I don't need the guitar to finish this." Homeboy is possessed on stage, and purposely sets himself up to have a hard time. This is what I've heard him say in interviews.

Blue Mustang- I think Jack was a little 'Pissed Off' cause Conan wasn't sitting at his desk when he moved over to there towards end the song.
@YerpDerp17

@@YerpDerp17 The correct answer. I always read it as him not being mad, as much as "Fuck it, I don't need the guitar to finish this." Homeboy is possessed on stage, and purposely sets himself up to have a hard time. This is what I've heard him say in interviews.
The only thing that upsets me about watching a white stripes video is that I'm always hoping that they're back together

I don’t care what they say I still think Meg is as cute as can be and I love watching her bash the hell out of the drums. Jack is still by far one of the best guitarists in my opinion. The sounds he gets out of the guitar are fascinating. Jack White and Jimi Hendrix have their own unique sounds like no other.

Holy fuck. Every single time. The most incredible visual and audible band since I dont even know, Zeppelin? Stooges? The evolution of Raw Power!!
I remember when Conan had them as the musical guest all week. It was the first time I had "seen" them. I went back to work at guitar center a changed musician. The most awesome duo ever. Had heard them and loved the music but seeing these 2 people seriously rocked my world.

Ahh the white stripes in their heyday. Happy times indeed. I really miss them
I love the drums,not so overwhelming, simple and yet very in rhythm with the song and guitar.
Meg is the glue. And that hair, baby. I used to go to Mexican Village in Detroit, and always wondered if I ever crossed paths with them, and we were always at St. Andrews Hall as well.
