Given the fact that you're the best englisch teacher on KZread it's a only a given that I'm already subscribed to your channel. All the other lessons were so bad that I'd ask them to give me back my money and maybe give away the old, clunky school books. Thanks to you I've not yet given up on practicing my English skills and I'm pretty sure I'd give my PS5 to become such a master of the language like you are. So pls, share your wisdom and give us the enlightenment we all strife for. Cheers
your presence gives off lots of relaxing vibes, Aly!
It's a given Aly is the best teacher Eva' on KZread. Love from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
2:30 A ripe mango gives off a sweet scent. Sometimes you collect squashed mangos from supermarket shelves. On inspection, the depressions of mushy pulp have the telltale hallmark of finger indentations...
I met a lovely man when I was grocery shopping a couple of days ago. He was so kind and gave off such positive energy.
In brazilian portuguese we use similar constructions: I'd give (something) to have (other) and Given that (some situation) + (a consequence). Here we have a song that says: Eu daria tudo pra não te perder. (I'd give...) And we use to say (in formal speech): Considerando que or Dado que... (Given that...)
True ! .... It IS a given that Aly is the best teacher on KZread ! Por supuesto que es el mejor teacher !🇦🇷🇬🇧🇦🇷🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hello! I saw you for first time and you gave me off a very good impression!! Thank you!

Your channel gave off an optimistic vibe & inspirational vibe as well, first time I ran into it.

Hi Aly, In french, we say for example "Je donnerais tout pour..." = "I'd give everything to...". And there is the expression "On lui donnerait le bon Dieu sans confession", that we use for someone who looks so honest that you can't imagine this person doing something bad = "We'd give him (or her) the God without confession". Thank your for your english lessons, I love the way you teach ! 👍🙏🤗

En anglais, on dirait " We/One would not have thought/imagined that he could commit such a sin "
@sandrinestefaniak5179

Thanks for the update 🙏🏻
We use "i would give my all to ..." in Turkish too. It can be translated as "... için her şeyimi verirdim". But we most commonly use this form: "nelerimi vermezdim" which means "what wouldn't i give"
It a given that you are a fine teacher 👌.
The example with the boss, it's kind of common in br pt: the past participle being used like that . Hey Aly, as always, noice video! I like how you expose syntax, morphemes, phonology, and a little razzle dazzle of the everyday life with so much joy!
As always informative, Thanks

@@cyruschang1904 merci beaucoup pour le feedback ! 👌💖👏...

On traduit " j'ai envie de " par " I really want to, I really like to" Cette leçon donne vraiment : this lesson is very/really useful. Non, on n'emploie " to have some give " pas seulement pour parler des fruits.
Cool to know this "haven't any give" about a fruit!
I'm not borrowing now. But,my friend hasn't given me my Dido's CD back yet since 2000.Anyway,thank you for your brilliant video!
😃 Hi, dude. Your Spanish is very good...!

Great video Aly!!! 🤓🇧🇷 Just one question, is it okay/natural to say something like "He gave ME off creepy vibes"? Or "give off" as a phrasal verb do need to be together in the sentence? Ty!!
Hello from Italy! Your sketch-based teaching shows are so captivating . You’re a terrific teacher I am somewhat confused about how to use the verb “give” when there’s a relative clause such as in : can you give back the money (that) I gave (to) you last week please?

Well, recently I met a boy, who is a ballet dancer. I found him cute, he gives off such a tranquil atmosphere.
Given that Aly speaks the London accent, he uses a lot of glottalized 't's.
It's a given I never heard about these uses of 'give' at school. Everyone knows it sucks. Given that school sucks, I am going to leave it. I'd give my favourite cup for a PS 5 :D (We have the same expression in Ukrainian ^-^) I've just given away my PS 5 :c... Actually... no. I had to give it up or my elder brother would've beaten me.
