1) I work as a Designer. 2) My mother is as gorgeous as my father, and I like that! 3) I am always told that I look like every anonymous person you can imagine. If a japanese guy or an African guy is close enough, people say: oh, are you twins? 4) As I am watching this video, my dog is biting me for attention. 5) We were talking about food. We saw a piece of cheese just after picking up another we thought it was cheaper. So, we was like: no, we will take this one! It is heavier but the cheapest we saw! Love your lessons! And yes, you look like Jason Stathan! When you posted the Cockney lesson, you were like CTRL+C/CTRL+V!
The way you act is brilliant! Thank you, go on!
Your way of teaching is wonderful. God bless u, Aly
Definitely 'like', as this channel deserves it!

You are so talented like an actor! It's fun to watch you. Thank you! 🙂
As a teacher you are amazing. As an actor you're just great. As an artist you're almost as good as Picasso. As I told you, you're simply the best. You look like a million dollars. You've got a great sense of fun. Your lessons are always as good as it gets. So I'm like, 'Wow! What's not to love?' Why, oh, why I'm not like you? - Have you ever tried to walk like an ancient Egyptian? Ever done the sand dance - like these guys 💃🕺- without falling down like a domino? - I reckon, it's not as difficult as it looks like. It even looks kind of cute. But as I'm a serious guy - and not like a kind of a crazy terpsichorean - I just won't do that. Shy as I am, last night I told her that I loved her. I went, like, 'I ♡ you' ... and I was like...😍 But she was only like, 'what'? 😆😅😂 And then she goes like, 'as to us being together, don't count on it.' So now, as you can see, I'am standing in the cold rain feeling like a clown. 🤡

Thanks so much Aly for this lesson, I mistakenly used to say "like I said", but now I know that II must say "As I say; As I said" no matter how awkward it sounds to me.

Gold value 🎉
That's very effective lesson to learn what is different "like" and "as". As a personal British English learning man in Japan, I'd like to ask you to do like this lesson because usually the most of private English trainers or private English conversation schools offer to learn American English. There is not much way to learn British English. Thank you.
Thanks very much for your video! I like all of your video ☺️!!!
Look here 👉😃, this was my facial expression throughout the video .... enjoyable and helpful lesson, thank you Aly!

Great
Hi, I really like your chanel. It's very helpful in learning English but during 2 years when I came to UK I noticed that knowing language is as important as behaviour and doing things in right way (as British people). So if it is possible, may you have much lessons about your culture, how to be polite, how to response on the jokes, what do you think we (immigrants from other countries must know about the british culture. Thank you and have a nice day:)
I’ve seen your channel since 2017, and I’m always amazed at your every lesson. As a korean, even though We learn English from an early age, I think not many koreans speak english well. I do insist that the english education in korea refers to yours because anyone could understand how the language should be accepted. Thank you so much professor
Aly, you were born to be a teacher or an actor. The oscar goes to Aly. Love from Turkey.
Oh my lord. I'm watching this video during my breakfast. I definitely should not have done it :) But the video as gripping as all others on your channel :)
I've laughed a lot with this video.
Your examples are very funny😁😁🙂 Thanks Sir

As I told you east or west my papa is the best 👼
Did anyone tell you before that your voice sounds just like Simon cowell’s voice 🙂 thanks for the helpful videos… I love British English
"fart"-examples were absolutely smashing)))
I would like to teach like you do!!!!
Sorry,I write in Spain Catalonia.Super teacher wiht humor specially.
1) I'm a student 2) my father doesn't look as good as my mother (my mother looks better than my father) 3) I've been told that i look like Elle Fanning 4) as I'm watching this video i can hear some birds singing outside 5) my last conversation was about my necessaries for a trip to my workplace, it was with my mother and i was like "you gotta find me some bags for the small stuff i need to carry" (fix my mistakes if there are any)
Thanks for always your nice videos. I've been enjoying an online game every week with my English speaker friend, who have lived other country. My English skill is not very well, so please teach some useful expression for gaming. I'm playing Fortnite, and live in Tokyo, Japan.
you are as funny as Aladdin's genie! seeing your videos is like eating a chocolat!

In LOVE with this video 😍🔥🔥 but i didn"t get (I get told) meaning 💔🥺 I have a problem with using GET 🙄
I’ve been taught that in negative comparison is it used „not so… as” whereas in positive comparison „as … as”. Ex. You’re not so pretty as my ex or You’re as pretty as my ex. You recommend to use „not as … as” for negatives. Could you advise me if „not as…as” is interchangable with „not so … as” or is it „not so … as” structure incorrect? Great video by the way! 😁👍
Why were not my English teachers as extremely fascinating as you are ?
1. I'm studying as an information technology student. 2. My dad is not as patient as my mom. 3. Some of my friends told me that I look like the main lead actress from YOM haha. 4. As I'm watching this video, everything is silent around me because it's already 10pm.
I'm working as a teacher for an American school in English department. I am watching the football match and the opposite side scored a goal and I was just like 🤥
OMG Aly 😂your videos are hilarious, compering farts 🤣
💙💙💙
Please explain this moment: "his did" - in this case "his" is used as a subject?
In French, in most cases, « as » would be translated into : « en tant que ». But to get things even more confusing, we might also use « comme », which is closer to « like ».
my question is not related to the video contant but.. I can't prounce the r letter shoud I go to a speach therapist ?, I've seen your video on prouncing the r and l sounds but I'm not seeing much improvement. it's making me inscure and I feel like it's stopping me from improving my english, I'm not sure if it will ever get better
