Just wanna say you're the most entertaining English teacher on KZread. Nobody comes close.
The short skit at the beginning of these videos is the best part... Witty, humourous and remarkably creative. He grabs our interest, make us attentive and then teach us the lesson. Thank you, Aly ❤️

Q: Are you going to study writing tonight? A: I reckon so. But I might carry on watching Aly's amazing videos.
Brilliant, Aly! Perchance sounds nice, but I never use it. "To sleep, perchance to dream!" says Hamlet!
Interestingly, in American English, we say might/could be and have but not might/could do! Sounds very British to my ears. I wonder why that is because your logic makes perfect sense! Also, you’re right about reckon, except in the South. We use it all the time.
I can't decide what I like the most, the way you explain things or your illustration 😁 great job Ali. I'm learning with you all the time.

Thank you Aly! I'm from Puerto Rico (USA territory) and maybe should be watching American English lessons, but I looooove your videos!!!❤

Don't do that, el inglés británico suena mucho más tierno y a los estadounidenses suele encantarle, como cuando te gusta o te fascina el acento de un país que no es el tuyo, por sonar diferente y destacar
American here. I've used "might be" and "might have" (sometimes shortened to might've), but I've never used "might do" in a sentence by itself (or heard anyone else use it that way). It's interesting that others use it that way. I have heard "might could" but usually only in very casual settings.
It is so funny to use those structures for years only to understand where they come from :D I am so happy I have come across your videos! Amazing!
Amazing video!!! Thanks!!
I Love you Papa! Thank you!!
This is really helpful! Thank a lot!
Thank you for that video. I was searching this yesterday..
Thank you so much!!🙏
Thanks a lot for the video!
I also like to use "I hope so!" in these kinds of situations, 'cause it basically also means "maybe" but in a more positive way :)

Fascinating...I live in Canada, and I've never heard "Might do". Wonder why...it sounds really weird to me, but it makes sense in light of the other auxiliaries (be and have).
Thank you so much sir. Your explanation is simple but stunning.
You're awesome, teacher! 👏👏👏
Hi Aly! I have learnt a lot since I started watching your videos. You DO have an innovative way of teaching, which makes learning fun for students as well as your job rewarding. I like Perchance. The final word that perfectly describe maybe 😝 I’d love to hear about prepositions in, on and at in/on your next video. I work on a/in a ship. If I am under water properly it is in, but in some interview for exemple, what I should say. I always get confused with that. Thanks u got a gift to teach!

The thing with old poetry is that they are way too formal or strange nowadays, still sounds very intelectual
Aly! I like the artistic imitational work of yours.
والله انك اطلق استاذ
