My answers are as follows: 1. Would you mind opening the window? It's kinda hot here. 2. I thought U would be a programmer as a grown up. 3. My friend said that he would do it later. 4. My friend wouldn't go to the IT conference with me, because he had to take a test that day. 5. I'd meet Sebastien Loeb, have a coffe with him and ask about his thoughts he has in mind during the rally. 6. I'd do that face to face, to show respect to the person we were with. 7. If I hadn't gone to work, I would sleep longer and take a long walk. 8. I would have ended it when I find out about that. 9. When I was younger, I would run every day, would play with a bean, would sing in an empty room and I used to be alone. Thank you Aly for amazing episode again :)

    1. Would you mind me sharing your awesome videos with my friends, Aly? 2. As a child, I thought I would be a vet, but I’m allergic to all kinds of pets, so it didn’t happen. 3. Your friend told you she’d send you a photo of their new puppy later. 4. I asked a friend of mine to join me for a trip to another city on the Independence day, but she wouldn’t come because a new episode of The Handmaid’s Tale was on TV at that time and she didn’t want to miss it. I forgave her. Eventually. 5. If I met Collin Farrell I wouldn’t be able to move or do anything at all; I would stare at him as if I saw a ghost, try to smile, say hello and run away. 6. If I had to break up with somebody I would do it face to face, no matter how hard it might be. It just seems to be the right way to do it. 7. It’s Saturday, so I don’t have to work today.. But if I had gone to work today, I wouldn’t have eaten all the food from the fridge. And I wouldn’t have to go out and buy some more now.. 8. If my bf had cheated on me I would be pissed. That’s why I prefer keeping it casual with other people. There’s no such thing as cheating when you don’t have a boyfriend. 9. When I was a child I used to like reading, I would read one book after another, but I would hate being called a bookworm. I used to be less sociable than I am now. But I used to look just as ugly as I do now =/

My friend said she would send me a photo of her new puppy. 4. My friend wouldn't refused to join an event because it was me the one who wouldn't go. 5. If I could meet my favourite person, it would be Lili Reinhart and I would say to her that she is my role model of "loving yourself for who you are". 6. I'd find some quiet place to go and be with myself alone for a while. 7. If I hadn't gone to school, I would have gone to the gym 💪 8. I would have ghosted him if he had cheated on me. 9. I used to be pettish and I would cry every day for small stuff. Thank you.

Questions 1.- Would you mind bringing me a glass of water? 2.- I thought when I was young that I would be a doctor. 3.- She said that she would do it later. 4.- I asked to my friend if he had my pencil, but he wouldn't answer me. 5.- If I met Papa Teach, I would talk him about his excelent work on the videos! 6.- I'd do it in the more polite and friendly way as possible. In person seems to me the best option for formal stuff. 7.- If I hadn't stayed in my home today, I would be at the streets all day long. 8.- If my hipothetycal girlfriend had cheated on me, I would´ve talked with her inmediatly for clear the situation and get over. If it's possible togheter, and if it´s not, I would end off the relationship. 9.- A years ago, I'd go to the park everyday after school, when I used to be more thin. Extra (3rd conditional): If he wouldn't have knew that, he probably would be alive. Qué interesante, noté que el verbo modal "Would" es la forma que se tiene en inglés para expresar lo que en español serían las conjugaciones del subjuntivo. Este fue un vídeo muy explicativo y útil, ¡gracias!

I invited Estevan for this ‘feijoada’ today, but he wouldn’t come along ‘cause he had a birthday party. 5. If I met Roger Federer, I would probably collapse and after regaining consciousness I would say he’s the best tennis player EVER (the GOAT!) and it’s quite a blast watching him play on grass court. 6. I’d totally do it face to face! OK, you don’t love him anymore (or maybe you never did), but the least you could do is show some respect, you know? 7. If I hadn’t gone to work today, I would have gone for a walk on the beach. 8. I would have broken up with him. 9. When I was a teenager, I used to be more laid-back. I’d hang out with my friends every weekend and we’d spend the whole Sunday at the beach.

Hey, Aly. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge with us. You're great! My answers: - Do you mind teaching me how to sing like a good opera singer? - When I was a child, I thought I would become a superhero, just like Superman or Green Lantern. - My friend Frank wouldn't join me for a classical music concert since he was feeling a bit under the weather. - If I met my favorite celebrity, it'd be Cecilia Bartoli. I'd tell her that I admire her and all the effort she's made to reach her goals and spread her love for singing. I'd also ask her if I could hug her and sing a piece for me. - If a friend had to break up with his girlfriend, I'd advise him to do it as soon as possible and without beating around the bush too much. - If I hadn't gone to school today, I would've continued reading the book my mother gave me yesterday morning. - I would've broken up with him straight away. - When I was a child, I would play with my friend Daniel every day after school. I'd also disobey my mother and argue with my two younger brothers. Besides that, I used to be less discipline as well as a bit less slim. Wish you a good day!

Finally, my prays have been answered!! Now I know how Would replaces used to! for a few years of studying English there wasn't a teacher who explained that.

This is a super great lesson, thanks a lot! It's not so easy for me to learn all these different uses of "would" .... if I didn't need to watch your video several times I would answer all your questions my nice Teacher .... but I'm not able to do it right now 🙁😢

We have a verb conjugation in the past of future in Portuguese so it is easy for us. It is past future in the subjuntive tense.

Very informative and useful, thanks a lot. I used to have problems with “Would” 😊 and I would make mistakes. Now I’m good))) Ali please, create a video with all the forms of “I wish”. Looking forward to it. If there is this video on your channel, please give me a link.
