An underrated part of Chris Paul being added to the GSW is how he sets up younger players for success and they often become great role players or stars through guidance and leadership. He helps develop talent. It's consistently been something that happens every time Chris Paul joins a squad and why GMs want him despite his age, injuries and lack of championships. Yes, he's a great player but he's a great leader. Look at what happened with the young players on the Rockets, OKC and the Suns AFTER he moved there. I wouldn't be surprised that Kuminga and Moody improved thanks to his guidance.

Im most impressed about our defense, it looks like that suffocating defense from our 2022 championship year will be back, because holding the Suns to just 108 points and shutting Kd down, and then playing great defense against the Kings as well (except for like the final 5 minutes of the 4th quarter) to do all this WITHOUT Draymond shows so much promise because previous Warriors team’s defense falls off an absolute cliff when Draymond doesn’t play.

How much belief warriors have in kuminga? I saw a play against the kings where there was a kick out to Klay and he was wide open for his standards. He decided to swing it to kuminga in the corner for a 3. Splash brother passing up a 3 is danger for the league.

I'm not that much concerned about Klay's shooting because most of the time, he has slow starts, even pre injuries, so, I know that gonna progress with the games, now the defense, totally getting on point which is something we really need it, he was big part of our championship defense in the previous championships, so getting that back, even if it's not fully, it's a blessing, plus his shooting!!

that is the main thing about klay, even if fans slanders him bcs he's inconsistent. the truth is there aren't many two-way SGs in the league like klay is. He may have an off night, but he is still a threat on the 3, and he can stay on opponents on defense. so losing klay would be similar to losing 2 guys, a threat shooter and a defender.

Worth noting that the Warriors double-dipped in efficiency by trading Jordan Poole for Chris Paul. Not only will CP3 help reduce turnovers directly through being a solid floor general and outstanding with the ball, but he's replacing JP's high-turnover minutes. A too-early-to-draw-conclusions update on JP by the way: he's currently averaging 4.5 turnovers per game for the Wizards.

I agree that them not shooting as much 3s is a good thing. Unlike last season where 3-4 guys on the floor were chucking 3s as their primary, there's more variation to their offense now, as Kuminga and Wiggins are taking it to the basket more often. Also, I do hope they develop Moody into more of a 3-and-D guy for added defense on the wing rather than an offense-first player.

Curry, Klay, moody are on to 3pt lanes while wiggs and kuminga are drive in the paint monsters while cp3 is more on the midrange jumpers. Loon and baby T got their back on the rebounds and having Dray as their defensive anchor. Damn they're complete package as a team and they're slowly building their chemistry as well.

Klay Thompson is in TRAINING POINT on his defense. Well, his good on his 3point shooting and coach Steve is coming up on building a defense mechanism to step up on games. Kuminga,Wiggins and Moody are pointing for shooting. Cris Paul is assisting on good caughting on the ball. Moody didn’t get a lot of time in regular season. They had him in the g league a lot. But he got time in the playoffs both seasons. Not just garbage time in playoffs, important minutes in playoffs. Steve plays players based on match ups. So no one other than starting 5 is guaranteed anything. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t trust them

I’m a little skeptical of Klay guarding at the 4 consistently, too.

The Warriors better find ways of getting more Kuminga minutes. Everytime they do he’s scoring 20+. If Klay or Dray get injured this year and he gets bumped up as a starter, I don’t think the Warriors ever look back

A lot of people are concerned about klay's shooting when that's really not the issue we all know klay can get hot at any given moment we still need wiggins to step up more he hasn't been the same since the last 2022 finals

This warriors line up is starting to look like the warriors from the 2022 championship run, great on defense and fluid offense, also their issues on defense and offense last season are now patched up, with cp3 now on the team warriors doesn't have to worry about the curry less minutes and on defense even without draymond they're still able to function and make a bunch of stops thanks to Wiggins, gp2, kuminga moody and Thompson's effort on defense. This warriors storm is just brewing, once kuminga and moody get the playing time and opportunity they deserve and when cp3 gets comfortable with their system, the league better watch out cuz warriors are going to bring hell to the league.

the positive for me GSW 3rd Quarter is back with a better more versatile bench the negative wiggs and klay inconsistency , foul troubles and unorganized defense which hopefully green fix these things

Draymond has to play into shape too...warriors are a much better team this season...TJD is one impressisive rookie.

Klay's continuation with the Dubs will be determined by how they finish this year. If he's made his usual contribution and the Dubs go to the finals or even win it, he's back next year. If the season disappoints, he's gone. You cannot break up the Big Three if their success continues and he's a reason why. Next year, he can work less minutes with CP3 and JK and Moses available to take up the difference. and present opponents with bigger defensive problems with each substitution. By the All Star break, the Dubs' second unit would be a top-10 team in itself and can absorb a down season by Klay, but not into next year.

I could see CP3 signing or getting traded to the pelicans, knicks or clippers next season. He looks great with the warriors so far, but I don't think financially its going to work next season. CP looks awesome actually running plays and distributing the ball, warriors haven't had anyone who could do that besides steph and dray

GSW use 3s as decoy to every possession, dray was the man who successfully use this strategy every time, get ball wait curry or klay take it and do immediately screen. There always two option, dray let ball taken by spash bross doing screen and those splash bros shoot, or fake it go to basket for easy layup or dunk. That simple yet effective and work everytime because there curry and klay who mastered art of shooting. And every team can do this give or fake it. And with this the space splash bross give, make at least one player open for lay up. The team that make it similar but can work because by himself is jokic , denver so OP in searching open guy just because there is jokic
