I like that illusion it is eco friendly just because the car has no exhaust polluters. It is impressive at some point, as a party trick, but the price and pollution to get Hydrogen by so far known technologies is sending this project to the dead end. It is just my opinion and I am not claiming I am right. You can prove me wrong...

Hydrogen fuel tanks in cars are typically designed to withstand significant impacts and are constructed from robust materials to minimize the risk of rupture during accidents. Hydrogen fuel tanks are equipped with pressure relief devices that vent excess pressure in the event of a sudden increase, reducing the likelihood of tank rupture.

Battery swapping makes more sense than hydrogen canister swapping... It help save charging time. Hydrogen just need to fill. Frankly swapping hydrogen canister is slower, exposed to more risks of sparks and leaks.

Moped battery swapping is common in China. Batteries are charged at home overnight, carried as spare on moped, extended the range. A common practice, a pragmatic solution. Car battery size are simply to large. Need practical solution by having a battery swapping service with suitable design. Liquid fuel like Hydrogen, Ammonia, LPG/LNG, or even petrol/gas or diesel, just plainly does not make sense. Imagine you swap petrol/gas tank to fuel the car... Does that make sense? Look up this video... (How-to Refuel Your Toyota Mirai | Toyota). And you can make hydrogen locally. Just need electric. I honestly the video is either a joke, or a scam gone wrong, with no practical understanding of the science behind the tech. I have reason to believe it is battery not hydrogen. The capXtore setup looks like commercial battery charge-swapping facility.

Car batteries are too big for that, and we don't have the resources to keep making them. Also hydrogen fuel cells don't have those safety problems. You're misinformed about the safety of hydrogen cells.

Hydrogen fuel is safer than gasoline, it's less volatile. People often think of the Hindenburg, but the reality is that most of the fire was caused by the diesel engines and the lacquer coating on the ship itself, which is why it went up so fast. If a Hydrogen tank was punctured, it would instantly dissipate into the atmosphere because it's 16 times lighter than air. Gasoline leaks onto the ground and fuels itself when there is fire present.

Is there any video, where you can see the other end of the capsule? With the connection to the car? Because I think, this will be a major problem for such a system. How do you connect a high pressure gas tank quick, easy and safely to the car? Besides the risk of such high pressure tanks at the back of the car, with hardly any protection.

Anything to keep cars using 1000s of moving parts and requiring feedstock from a retailer. EVs have a fraction of parts and you can plug it in. If you use renewable, then it's free. But ya. Hydrogen cut it gets huge range and takes seconds to fill, and to explode when hit from behind. 😅

Look up the research being done on the utilization of gallium with aluminum. By combining the two and then subsequently combining the free aluminum with water, you produce two aluminum hydroxide and hydrogen gas without the need for electrolysis. And since the gallium acts as a catalyst, it can be reused to free up more aluminum.

"Today, close to 95 percent of hydrogen production is from fossil fuels like natural gas and coal. As a result, we emit 830 million tonnes of CO2 each year to produce 74 million tonnes of hydrogen." "The Global Hydrogen Refueling Stations Database consists of a detailed description of 469 active and 166 planned hydrogen refueling stations around the globe as of May, 2022.12 Sept 2022" "2020 marked the first year in the UK’s history that electricity came predominantly from renewable energy, with 43% of our power coming from a mix of wind, solar, bioenergy and hydroelectric sources." "With the hydrogen-powered electric car, the losses are significantly greater: 45 percent of the energy is already lost during the production of hydrogen through electrolysis. Of this remaining 55 percent of the original energy, another 55 percent is lost when hydrogen is converted into electricity in the vehicle. This means that the hydrogen-powered electric car only achieves an efficiency of between 25 to 35 percent, depending on the model." Have a look at the youtube channel "Transport evolved" and also "Just have a think" for information not paid for by the fossil fuel companies. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jJ-g0ZaTYbbXm6g.html
