That's not what method acting is. You don't know his process of getting into a character so you have no idea if it's method acting or classical. Plus, i doubt there is a Ali G/Borat/Bruno in real life that Sascha followed for months trying to incorporate his persona

Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius, point blank.

He has to be one of the greatest actor of all time. Ik it's a huge claim but still.. the guy acts in real time! He doesn't get to have multiple takes or on-spot makeup, things he do can't possibly be properly rehearsed, and his craft doesn't depend on lighting or soundtracks

It’s actually depressing how accurate he was about Zuckerberg, because Mark *literally* idolizes Augustus Caesar, and yes that is EXACTLY why he keeps getting that awful goddamn haircut. His wife apparently made fun of him on their honeymoon when she said “it’s like there’s three of us here - you, me, and Augustus” 🤢🤢🤢

On that exactly episode.. She spelled Kazakhstan correctly.. So seems she's wasn't honest while interview, at least she revealed her indifference, which been shown by that performance

I always thought Sacha Baron Cohen was a character played by Borat...

I couldn’t agree more with Sacha. I’ve been telling people the same about how social media needs to be regulated or just flat out wiped out.

Borat speaks some Polish. For example "jak się masz?" meaning how are you? He also says "dziękuję" which is thank you in Polish.

Sacha is a genius, but everybody has their drawbacks. Everybody on camera "tolerates" his bigotry because they know it's a performance. He's amazing, but not quite totally believable.
