And also wouldn't have made sense for a Deadpool story to end with him getting all the help. Most of his team of stories end with him only getting bare minimum help but still managing to get through it in the end in some crazy wacky way he can't do that if he has a whole superpowered war vet team behind

I think Deadpool was during the blip, and Deadpool 2 was after, hence the X-Men were suddenly back.

Didn't see the movie in 1977 because I wasn't in America yet. In March of 1978, shortly after arriving to America as a four year old, I was taken to two places to introduce me to American culture - McDonalds and the movies. My very first movie ever, was Star Wars. It was still playing in the theaters. It made an enormous impact on my life and the other kids who would eventually become my classmates and friends. In elementary school through the early 80's, we would role play Star Wars characters at recess. Empires Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi caused so much anticipation, excitement and imagination. I'd day dream I was Luke Skywalker saving my first grade crush dressed as Princess Leia. I got an R2D2 digital watch (a digital watch itself was a big deal back then, lol) in first grade and that watch is what my crush told me she liked one day at school. I was totally frozen in shock, delight and innocence and it would take a week of passing notes back and forth before she became my girlfriend and first love. Star Wars was all that and more.

It was the most amazing thing ever, nobody ever saw special effects that good, nothing even close. They actually invented and perfected new technology for this movie. No movie ever had such a huge story arc. I was 11 and one of my best friends dad moonlighted at the drive in. I saw the movie there and regular theaters at over a dozen times back then. Remember they had dollar matinees back then and you were allowed to stay for the next showing.
I mean for me as a 47 YO daily PC gamer. I loved the show. The feel was there. great characters. Pretty ok story. Lots of lore from the games. As a dude that played the first FO game on freaking DOS, i love the show. Wish there was more, but yea, you gotta truncate allot of content when it's not a game i understand that, so it is great.

You take out the only hybrid, aka Michael, you ruin everything! 2 parts of the series come out and then the hybrid is gone!!! Though I must say that the rise of the lycans did fill in the story of Victor, Saline and Sonya! The 4th was ok but the whole point of the story was for Saline to reunite with Michael with their badass child! Never happened!!!! Took awhile but the storyline crashed and burned
