How many questions do you have for a guy who clearly rear ended your client?

I don’t usually take the depo if they will agree to admit liability AND not call as a witness. If they won’t agree, then take the depo to make sure they aren’t going to say something like the plaintiff said this is made up, not hurt etc etc

@@AlderTalk My favorite is when the defendant takes off on foot and then denies they were driving their own car because they lent the car to someone and don't know their name. I noticed the deposition and simultaneously sent a request to admit they were driving the car. The defense attorney had a 70k offer on the table within a few days.

Hmm, after listing to you. I feel like I have a passive attorney. The defendant attorney schedule the depos very close to deadline, so now my attorney ask for delay in trial and motion to compel. I just can’t wait to have this over. Any advice for me? Look for a new attorney?

It depends on how far along you are. But that’s a common problem that results in lower value of your case. It’s not so much aggressive as it is proactive. Why not put your case first?

@@AlderTalk I am not sure. My first time dealing with a lawsuit. I am so lost. I have been watching a lot of videos to learn the whole process. I found your channel. What do you refer to “lower value of my case”? The defense attorney is so aggressive. A lot of yelling during the depo.
