Just when you thought it was over... this defense team is incredibly tenacious! I'm a pretty smart cookie but listening to Bev's instructions to the jury regarding the verdict forms made my head spin. That form was confusing ON PURPOSE. Even the minor correction made in light of the defense's objections did not fix that. Bev wanted KR convicted of SOMETHING, that was clear. I can't even use the word "judge" in conjunction with Bev's name, doesn't seem right. It stinks to high heaven that she hand picked the foreperson, who then sent a very important note to the judge without running it past the rest of the jury. Not a good look. We need to change KR's name to Patsy because that's what she is to all the cops, the judge and even JO's family. At this point it's irrelevant whether she actually committed the crimes she's charged with... the evidence presented in no way even proves JO was struck by a vehicle, and the lead prosecutor grossly misconducted the whole investigation.

There were three charges against her. At the end of the trial, why didn’t the judge ask the foreman to give the jury’s verdict on each charge like it’s done in other trials. The verdict is read out on each charge. She didn’t even do this. She declared a mistrial without knowing (or maybe she did know) what the jury’s verdict was for each charge. The three jurors probably saw that. I can understand why they would approach defence and tell them the true verdict. They probably saw the manipulation of the court.

the prosecution used so many dirty tactics that anything other than an innocent verdict would be a travesty of justice. Unrelated experts, not employed by the defence or by the prosecution testified that it was impossible the victim was struck by ANY vehicle. The prosecution at one point used an inverted video to misrepresent a testimony to the jury. It was disgusting. I've never seen a trial like this. Sadly the truth will probably never be known in this case, but I don't believe she hit him with her car, simply because of the testimony of the Accident reconstruction experts, in conjunction with the medical experts. One of the medical experts was the states own witness. All of their testimony aligned and none of them saw any injuries or damage to the car consistent with a motor vehicle vs pedestrian accident. End of story. If you cant get past this basic requirement of it even being possible he was hit by a car, then the rest is impossible. I cant believe the jury even hung on this. Additionally the Alberts sitting in the courtroom staring down the jury on the last day...that was just plain weird.

@@gerttopmullerit’s very basic. Karen caused the death of John Okeefe. Only a dummy or a fan would disagree. The data lines up dead on. Her actions are damning. Her tailight is busted at 5;07 as there is a gaping hole on camera. Zoom in. Clear as day. Blames ploughs at 5:01 lol. Ok Karen. Admits it. In court says it’s an accident. She didn’t hit him yet hard. She’s a psychopath

I fail to believe that all of these cops and troopers are all involved in a cover up. There are too many of them and watching them testify assumptions have been made and everyone has jumped to conclusions that they are all corrupt but can you really believe that all of them have gotten together to get “their stories straight”!! I think KR did it too however got lucky that these cops and troopers made mistakes that looked bad on them and because of this she has literally “gotten away with murder”!!

@@user-nz5iz9ce8o they’re literally filing motion to dismiss right now. There is no disputing that’s she was found not guilty. So it makes CW just look that much more incompetent engaging in a retrial just to get the same verdict. This revelation dictates what can be admitted in the next trial. Takes half of the prosecution’s witnesses and evidence off the table. That’s FAR from a nothing burger.
