I learned a lot of this from John Holt's classic books, *How Children Fail* (1964) and *How Children Learn* (1967) and by researching Philadelphia's 1967 experimental education program called The Parkway Program. Just last night I watched a 2005 film called The Water Is Wide, set in 1969 about a gifted teacher who brings out his students' gifts through building on their interests. Worth looking up.

Saw the whole video pretty sure I didn’t miss anything. But as someone with very really bad adhd I could have used examples or tools that I could apply to let’s say studying. Are you just reading yourself? How do you apply something that is maybe just theoretical?

When you said „let’s quickly jump…. " and you pointed your thumb behind you - I seriously thought you want to change places and you were gonna sit on the couch behind you. Until you said „ … to my original question" - than I realized how dumb I was. 😅
