I created my resume along side this video, it was helpful to have a reference to follow along. Do you still think applying through 3rd party websites like Indeed are the best way to search for available openings?

What is your opinion about the ZERO to MASTERY ethical hacker cybersecurity course?

You got this! It's all about optimizing your resume to get through HR screening (which a lot of this is now done with software before a person ever looks at your resume unfortunately). Get key action skills on there + impact, keywords (usually tooling, specific technology, etc. used in projects or previous jobs), and certs on there so you at least get your resume in front of a real person. @@WithSandra I heard from somewhere else that resume's doesn't get you hired. However, I think tailoring it that's close to the job description/requirements will definitely help. Just need more time to add accomplishments and skills.

These tech imfluencers need to stop selling pipe dreams. No one is getting a cyber sec job with no prior experience, unless youre really lucky or have the right connections. The most realistic and best starting point is get your A+ and or Network+ and start as helpdesk and work your way up. Helpdesk sucks, to be honest, but you learn so much more foundation VS trying to go straight into Cyber Security.

I graduated with my IT degree and got an entry level cybersecurity job out of college with no previous cyber exp. Starting in IT is definitely an easier path but that doesn't make starting a career straight into cybersecurity impossible.

​@@WithSandrayyou must have had really good internship opportunities on your area. I've been in IT for 10+ years and it surprises me when I hear someone landed a security job right out of college. It's not impossible, if you really know your stuff and can show it, but for most people watching your videos it's not realistic. Every tech youtuber is selling the same dream in every video. The reality is, it's not easy, no one will hire you to do high level security work with little to no experience. The best advice I always give people. If you want to get into security with no degree, get your A+, get a helpdesk job and work your way up to and keep getting certs

I just made one resume. After creating the whole resume. And the score was 96%. But they asked for money😢. I thought I could get that for free. Ah come on!!😢
